Likes

Events that are conducted by the college are really fun to attend
We can interact with seniors frequently.. they are lot friendly than you think
There are lot of hackathons that will be conducted by multiple human chapters in the college

Dislikes

Holidays in the college will be very less and will not give extra holidays
There will be less sports periods in the first year for IT and CSE students
The college infrastructure is not that great there are more buildings and always under construction

Course Curriculum Overview

Iam from information technology department I chose this course because I was interested in the tech stuff. There are almost 10+ faculty for every subject who are well trained and explains really good. But few teachers are new to the college there maybe some troubles in understanding when these teachers teach. Most of the faculty completed their doctorates in specific fields and the teachers try their level best and will resolve the doubts of the students. As per the exams conducted in the college, there will be 2 internal exams and external sem end every 4months. Passing the exams is easy if you study well

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy is related to JNTU so it is not in the hands of the college and cost to study is 135000 per year for every branch. There will be scholarship given to the students who are eligible according to the scholarship policy of the College. Here there are multiple companies come for placements and success rate is very high. There will be placement training given in the college.

Campus Life

So in this college there is 1 technical fest called convergence and 1 annual fest sintillashunz. Conducted once a year. The college library consists of wide variety of books which we can rent for free by taking a library card. The classrooms are very well air ventilated except in the PEB block. And sunlight is well ventilated in all classes and labs. There are no ACs yet in the classrooms but there are ACs in the computer labs. There a lot of student chapters and cultural club students can join and participate in the events that are conducted and we can play sports from 2:30 in the college. There will be a bunch of celebraties coming to the college

Admission

The admission process is we need to score a good rank in eamcet to get a seat in the required branch. The other modes of admission are through Mains and few other methods. The details will be available in the official website of VNR Vjiet.If you have a reservation you may get a seat for even a little bit more rank than for open category seats. If you get less than 5000 rank you may get a 100% fee reimbursement. All the application forms and dates are available in the college official website.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
