Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Mathematics and compting in IIT BHU because I was interested in mathematics and the value of this new course is very high as it included advanced mathematics which is used in artificial intelligance and Machine learning . faculty : student ratio is 1:22 professors are highly qualification . all are from renowed foriegn universities exams - in every semester we have two exams- mid sem and end sem exam are not difficult as such

You get a lot of internship opportunity in the campus- All the fAANG companies come to the campus for placement and internship. Roles - SDE(max) Quant AI mL Core(mechanical, electrical, electronics, civil, metallurgy, mining)(less)

Placement Experience

If you are 4 year student - you are eligible for placement in 7th semester If you are 5 year student - you are eligible for placement in 9th semester With the dedicated efforts from the Training and Placement Cell, IIT (BHU), the college witnessed a sturdy recruitment process. As of 3rd January, 2024, a total of 353 internship offers were received. The highest stipend was Rs. 4,50,000 per annum, with an average of Rs. 98,597 per annum. Various companies made 973 Placement offers, including PPOs, with the highest domestic package of Rs. 1.68 crores per annum. The average package stood at an impressive Rs. 24,11,720 per annum. Top recruiters include ServiceNow, D.E. Shaw, Oracle, Wells Fargo, Sciforn Solutions, Texas Digital, Nvidia, Sprinklr, Siemens EDA Google, Jaguar Land Rover and many more. A total of 9 international offers were received with CTC ranging from 45 lpa to 87 loa

Campus Life

Annual fest - kashiyatra Tech fest - TECHNEX All types of books which are required for studies are available at the library Classrooms are good but didn't have AC Sports -all type of sporting facilities are available. A student activity centre is there having gym , badminton, table tennis, boxing,etc. There are clubs in every feild , including science, tech , astronomy, aero modelling, business, startup , cultural, etc

Hostel Facilities

Rooms at the hostels are simple 3 triple sharing having bed , table , chair, almirah. Hostel have water coolers Washerman facilities are available Mess food is fine , may feel boring. Hostel and mess costs use 20000 per semester

Admission

To get in IIT BHU you need to crack JEE advanced . ~elibility - # there is no age limit of candidate # candidate should be class 12 appearing or 12 passed just last year # should get min 75% in class 12 board or be in the top 20 percentile of there respective boards ~process - # first give jee mains and secure good enough percentile to be eligible for jee advanced (for general - more than 90 percentile) # then give jee advanced and secure good rank for application form , fees and date , visit the official website of jee mains and jee advanced ~reservation criteria- reservation is there for categories - OBC ,SC,ST,girls,Differently abled people

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I got mechanical engineering in IIT bhu because of my rank in jee advanced examination. I rejected civil of kanpur and chemical of ghuwati because of the superiority of mechanical over them . In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it. Now I tell u about my admission process all the students alloted a date to submit documents and for hostel verification . Then on that day the allot us hostel room to stay. Then all students of different branches alloted different places to go and submit documents we go there and submit documents after a rush. Then they give us college id card with college stamp. A Good and Fruitful choice.

IIT BHU is known for it's religious and spiritual, Cultural environment. A number of fest take place. There are appx 10-11 DJ nights and pronight in a year. A total of 6-7 fest are done annually at large level and small fest are regular. This is the best thing of it. The mess quality is also better as compared to others.
