Actually I got this course according to my rank. For my rank, I got CSE, ECE branches for the colleges after top 10 or 11. But I want a course in top 10 colleges. So I preferred for IIT Madras which is one of top most college. Here we will get more placements so there is more chance to get placed. student faculty ratio is 1:65. Faculty was too good. They are more than 25 yrs experienced also they are well being teaching. In my view, exams are a little bit difficult to pass. We have 2 quizzes, endterm for some subjects and midterm, endterm for some subjects and projects, assignments, presentations for some objects per semester. Each semester is approximately 4 months. But if we put a little effort in exams, we can pass.

There were many companies like Bain, Jane street, Boston, McKinsey, JP Morgan, Millenium Consulting, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, Accenture strategy, Optiver, Goldman sachs,etc. With stipened upto 2 lakhs for 8 weeks. some are 30,000 and 40000, etc,. And the projects comes under the profile. Software, consultancy, Core, Finance, product management, Research, Analytics, DSA, Python, Java etc,

During 3rd year, placements are going to be happen. We can register for placement portal, the companiy profiles were appeared. We can apply to companies, and processing. So many offers were come from many companies which are stipened. Averag epackage is 25 lakhs, minimum and maximum packages are 5 lakhs and 1 crore. Moat of the students get placed in different companies. Nearly 75% students get placed. I they were not placed, they will be recommended by seniors from our college who are finished and placed before us. And some people were not sitting for placements as they are interested in public sector examinations like UPSC, groups 1, 2, etc. also some students start their start up ideas. I want to take placement first. Then I want to continue for 2 to 3 years then I want to write for govt jobs like IES and all in core side. Also I want to try for group 2 exams.

Fee structure is per semester, 12000 per institute, 22000 per mess, 16000 per hostel (includes hospital charges, wellness centre,electricity bill, etc). So per year, 100000 is gooing to be paid. This all belongs to reservation category students. For non- reservation category students, only institute fees is different. It varies differently for different categories. Itis approximately 5 to 8 lakhs. FOR reserved canditates NSP scholorship will be provided for applicable students. For those who are not applicable for NSP, they will provide Insti scholorship.This is applicable for only SC, ST categories. But institution may give education loan as min 40,000 to buy laptop.

IITM campus is very nice. Mostly it is a forest, very greenery, ecofreindly in nature. There were deers, monkeys, cats, etc. Deers were walking around us in between us. We can get more friends. Also there are many clubs in IITM. We have cultural fests and tech fests. we have a great oppurtunity to improve our skills. there is a library which is constructed as 6 floors. There are many books related to core subjects and electives. these are available for M tech, B tech, Phd and also for researchers. Also general knowledge boooks, novels, ect were avalable. there is a sports complex. Anyone can play the games, whatever te games they want. Also there is chance to get into inter IIT sports. There are many extra cirricular activities like comedy clubs, dance clubs, design clubs, etc.

Hostel facility is good. But mess is bad sometimes. But it is ok we can eat and sustain. For 1st year and 2nd year students ther will allot double sharing rooms. From 3rd year onwards, they will allot double sharing, single sharing and triple sharing. Here is the chance for us to choose whatever we want. Mess is divided into north veg, nonveg and south veg, nonveg. We can opt foe whatever we want. Hostels are allotted seperately for btech, mtech, pg etc. Hostels were allotted by officials. But we can opt mess. In rooms Lan, study table are available.

I took JEE Advanced exam as entrance exam. First we need to apply for JEE Mains and should qualify to write advance exam. Also there are cutoff for different reservation categories. I know for sc as 43 percentile. Application fees varies 100 to 1000. There is a min cutoff for each subject in Advanced exam. We should qualify for each subject seperately. After results, we should take mock allotment. Then we can opt for college list.
