Remarks

The overall college is awesome and I could not expect more. A great place to improve your personality. There are ample opportunities which a person should be grateful about. But the infrastructure needs serious improvement. The management is slow and les

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE (mains and advanced) My score was 208 of 360 marks. I secured a rank 2070. Well, the ECE branch was the best after CSE as far as the placements were considered. I had no particular knowledge of any branch, so this was the only criteria I used to get this branch. And yes, CSE was not availaible.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum in my first year was simply the basics and the subjects were common for nearly all the branches. However a subject of the department was also introduced. This helped in lerning the basics and have a little know how about our branch. In the 3rd sem, the courses are completely branch focused. But some courses are also from other departments providing us the knowledge required in the ECE subjects which is used as a tool.

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of companies which come and provide internship. Our college is a top ranked IIT as compared in the list of best engineering colleges in India. Internships are easier to achieve. Like the amazon india had recently provided internship to more than 4 students with stipend 30-35 thound per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

Job opportunities and placement is great. But the placement within the core branches are not good. Not because of the reputation of the college but the companies are very limited within the core branches. However there are other fields in which the placement happens.

College Events

5

There are three all India fests in three fields that are sports, cultural and technical. They are respectively called Spardha, Kashiyatra and Technex. The participation is from all the colleges of the nation that compete here to be an overall champion. The fests are organised for 3 days each once in a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not that expensive and is at a minimum a college would require to provide all the facilities like internet connection, hostel, mess, cleanliness and the events that are organised, also the sports and gym facilities, etc. Our fees for each sem is nearly 63000 INR.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have only heard of MCM scholarships and a UP scholarship. I haven't availed any however so it is a little difficult for me to review it. Also the fees is feasible to afford so there is no loan about which I've heard that the college would provide.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is one the best here. You get to live your life to the best. Open spaces and greenery makes it pleasurable. The gender ratio is extremely poor. Not only here but in all the IITs. Nothing can be done about that. Workshops are are organised for Technex as well as the events held by the departments. Like the electronics department hold the Udgam, a fest which includes technical, buisness related and sports events. They give the general know how about the competitions that would be organised in the fest. There are many culltural societies like the Dance club (DFZ), Indian music club, Western music club, Theatrical society, the Lit club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities are good. The rooms however occupy students with larger no.as per their capacity. Like a single seater room is shared by two students. A two seater room is shared by three students. However the internet connection is all time available.

Alumni/Alumna

I have not been in contact with the alumini of the college. But the alumini network of the college is widesread is known to me. Not only in Varansi or India but IIT BHU alumini center is spread worldwide and established in most of the countries. The seniors however are very helpful. They are the ones who initially tell us what to do, which books to consult and are the ones who hold the workshops thus spreading their own knowledge among us whether it is related to studies or cultural fields or sports. Also they are the source of parties and free food on any special occasion.

Exam Structure

In a sem, there are two periodical exams and the end semester examinations. Also there are assignments. The periodical exams are frequent with two exams each day. However they are for a small duration and with small marking scheme so it does not become he

Faculty

4

The faculty is highly qualified. But I feel like they are a little less crowd attracting as compared to what we had before the college. But they do put efforts to make everyone understand and are helpful as far as the academics is considered. They are str

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
