The teachers are very good . They are very helpful.
Library was pretty solid and kind of books related to course u get there
environment are quiet good and out of noise

Dislikes

workshop unavailable. when i studied workshop buildings were there but infrastructure is very bad. machines are not available there.
All subjects teachers are not there. in our time one teachers took 3 to 4 subjects class.

i love this subject. faculty vs student ratio is 1:8 Both teachers are highly qualified and teaching skills are no doubt excellent. 3.5 monthes and it is quiet difficult but if u attained all clasess it is very easy

In this college fees are not super high, fees is quiet decent. cost to study is also decent notvery much as it is a goverment collgege u can get swami vivekananda merit cum scholarship. i dont get any job from this college.

Campus Life

biswakarma puja was held and annual sprots was conducted in novermbr to december whwre cricket was played. library is very good . any kind of book related to this course is available in this library and monthly journal also came. so if u have a library card then u should not think twice for books related to this couse thats for sure. classrooms are pretty big , lights , fans and charging ports are availablein each room. smart class rooms are also there. in computer class room there was 20to 25 computers which is very good but the workshop of mechanical enginerring is not good as there are less infrasturture in workshops cricket , football , tennis and carrom we were played. seperate badminton courts also available.

you should pass madhyamik and then you have to crack JEXPO to become eligible. you get the aplication form in WBSCTE main website. 500rs. After Madhyamik and HS exam . sc,st and pWd available NO improvement

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
