CET-LAW

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Good curriculum. The course isn't very difficult but last moment studying or preparation could be quite costly as the portion of each subject is vast although the time span given between each paper is sufficient enough to get revisions done. It's a must to complete the portion well before time to ensure no doubts or blank out during any examination.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, internships are provided after completing a degree. However, internships should be started even without college, during the first year students should start interning at district courts or with NGOs to know the basic structure

Placement Experience

3

No idea yet. Since I'm in the first year of the course. I do not have much idea about the placements offered by the college. However, on having a talk with the faculty and the principal of the college, there are campus recruitments for internships which is an excellent facility provided by the college. All students aren't guaranteed an internship in such case. They're selected on basis of merit and interview which is a fair method

College Events

3.5

Many events pertaining to the law are there. Moot courts. Intercollege events. And events from our college itself are hosted each year. Provides a platform for all students to participate and also secure prizes through them that encourage such participation. The prizes are quite often spectacular so events are a must

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Not too expensive. For the course being provided and reputation of this college, the fee is just optimum. I think the course of FYBLS LLB the fee is just about thirty thousand rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, scholarships are provided to those securing top ranks in the college. Each year the top 3 students get a scholarship. The amount, however, is unknown and likely subject to change each year.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is decent but the classrooms, labs, library, are really well maintained and so is the college as a whole. Quality of students not so great. But the ratio of girls to boys would be 30:70

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Never tried the canteen food available in the college, however, there are no hostel facilities but its right near the station of Goregaon thus making it convenient for any student to travel from distant places and attend college.

Alumni/Alumna

No interaction yet with any of the seniors of the college as the timing varies of each course in a college that's filled with numerous courses.

Exam Structure

All exam papers have the same pattern. Very boring and monotonous. No difference in any exam paper that's been given. But the exams are held systematically and in proper conditions as the papers are really long and almost impossible to finish even with the given time span of three hours.

Admission

Admission process through CET-LAW is late and varies each year. No fixed date for admission that could be told in advance but college starts in November. And it's a very lengthy process. All documents should be carried to college at the time of admission as missing out on even one can be costly and just makes the process longer day by day. Its advisable to. Call the college up in case of doubt for any document needed to be carried but in the safer side carry all documents pertaining to the admission of the college

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of college is quite decent. Not very efficient in teaching methods but they love to teach and explain matters of importance when approached. They're helpful and like to assure aid to students in all ways possible. All teachers are extremely impartial.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
