Course Curriculum Overview

5

I've choose this course cause I was interested in Agriculture. So to increase my Agriculture skills I choose this course. Faculty is quite good and teachers are friendly with us. About 80 teachers are there in our college. The faculty:student ratio is about 1:7 Every faculty is qualified till MBA and many Faculty members have done Phd in their own domain

Internships Opportunities

5

Many reputed companies visit here like IBM , IFFCO KISAN ,BETSOL,TATA etc. A decent intership are given to us with a good amount of stipend as a fresher. Many roles are offered like Farm manager, Agricultural consultant etc.

Placement Experience

5

From 7th semester students become eligible to sit in campus placements. Many reputed companies visit here like IFFCO KISHAN, HARSHATRUST, ITC ,TATA etc. About 100+ offers were given to our college. The highest package is about 12 LPA last year and Average package was about 5LPA. This year due to recession the amount of offers were less than previous year. Still about 65% student got placed in a reputed hospitals. After having a degree I want to get a Job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is decent not too much high for a Management college. In 4 years it charges 450000 and which is reasonable. But from 2023 college fees got reduced about 1lakh but its only for the student who got admitted in 2023 not the students who got admitted before. Many scholarships are approved by our college .Student loans are also accepted .

Campus Life

5

Our annual fest name is Gajajyoti . Annual Fest conducted after every year. Their is a huge library in our college and it consists of a decent amount of books which can help student to gain knowledge about the subject they want to. Not much amenities are there in our college campus as it is small. Sports Tournaments are organised by our college twice a year. Many extra curricular activities are done like Program of Music, Drama, Dance etc. No social groups are their that are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel Facility is quite decent. But the meal provided is very poor and unhygienic. To get registered in hostel you have to talk with admission cell. You can easily Afford . If you wanted to stay other place than hostel, then you can get near by PG.

Admission

I've got admitted through CET exam. You can find the application form in the CET website and Registration Fees is 500 and exam will occcur as per the session will start. Reservation Benefits are their. No it is quite good and judged in a correct way as per ranks the college is given.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture is one of the important and relevant subjects out of all. If we say about Indian context then most of the people are dependent on agriculture. So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology, genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. In our curriculum the mid sem occurs in the middle of the semester which is approx march in winter semester and in September- october in monsoon semester and the end semester exam held in end of the semester which is in December in monsoon semester and may in winter semester.

I generally loved how they showed they give 100% placements. But there is not any. The teaching methods however is very good as they give us mainly practical knowledge and skill based education. Which really helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture course is highly vast and informative. This course actually provides economic knowledge about the food we consume in our daily life and also provides the information about how they are grown and taken care of by our hardworking farmers. And talking about the difficulty level it's actually easy and we just have to get involved in this course as much as we can. Improvement this course requires is to give proper guidance to our farmers and also to provide them with proper wages they deserve.
