Course Curriculum Overview
This course is spread over 5 years comprising of 3 years of BBA and 2 years of MBA. The course provides diverse curriculum over the 5 years. And specialization in finance, marketing, business analytics etc. in MBA phase. Alongwith Internship opportunities after the end of each year in both BBA as well as MBA phase. The batch comprise of 240 students divided in 3 sections of 80 students each. There are different faculty for different subjects each highly qualified. Each student is also assigned with a mentor to discuss curriculum as well as extra curriculum based issues. In BBA phase there are 2 semester in one year each lasting for 4 months. The entire semester is divided into Continuous evaluation exams that include quiz, group assignment, individual assignment and mid semester exam and Semester evaluation exam at end of each semester. In BBA phase courses of general management are covered providing basic insights into HRM, Marketing, Finance etc.
Internships Opportunities
In first year of BBA there is compulsory social internship that can be performed at NGO's. After first year for every year students need to undergo corporate internship. The roles offered are in domain of HR, Marketing, Finance and General Management.
Placement Experience
After completion of 1st year of MBA students become eligible for campus placement. Major recruiters include JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Infosys, CRISIL, and many more. The highest package offered was Rs. 30 Lakh per annum and average was Rs. 12 Lakh per annum. The placement percentage is 100%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is around 3 Lakh per annum. Scholarship is available on basis of merit as well as merit cum means depending upon certain criteria. Financial assistance can also be availed through Vidya Lakshmi portal.
Campus Life
There are various clubs and committees run by students and for students. The committees include magazine committee, cultural committee, social committee, media and pr committee, co curricular committee and NSS committee. Clubs include dance and music club, book club, movie club, debate and quiz club. All these clubs and committees provides plethora of opportunities to develop extra curriculars and hobbies.
Admission
I applied through Gujarat State Category that is for students studying in schools that are in Gujarat irrespective of board. At first stage of admission process candidates having minimum 90% or above can apply. On basis of merit certain students are selected for personal interview. And finally on the basis of aggregate of 12th score and personal interview round score the selected candidates are offered admission. The weightage of 12th score is 70% and PersonaI Interview round is 30%.
Interview Experience
I faced Interview round that covered questions related to academics, current affairs, and questions related to particular hobby. One can prepare for interview round by self. As academic questions are mostly asked from 11th and 12th grade subjects.
