LIFE AT KCCITM

I choosed computer engineering cause I had computer as my subject in high school where I learned python programming so i had interest in it much before the college. Faculty to student ratio is good I would say. Around 60 students per lecturer. Out of 5 faculty of my semester 3 of them are phd holders. But every faculty has teaching experience so they know whom to give much attention. I had 1 sessional exam in the middle of the sem And one Pre university test before the end sem and it's difficulty level was normal

Companies for oncampus internships like hcl, Asian paints, icici bank, philips, canon, lg samsung, cipla, wipro, infosys and much more for various roles like for IT comapnies they hire for full stack developers. Projects are made in 3 rd year of college . We have various labs that are tied up with companies so projects purposes. I am in first year itself so I don't get internship

Campus placement is okay in college . You would get internship in 3 rd year of btech and placement starts in 8th semester of btech. Companies like tcs, infosys, extramarks, byjus, wipro , capgemini, verzeo , Amazon etc. Last year around 90 % computer science students got placed. Highest domestic package is around 40 lakh and highest international package is 95 lakh and avg package is 6 lakh. I had plans to prepare for gate exam for higher studies.

Fees to btech course is 50000 per semester but uttar pradesh govt as well as college institution provide scholarship to economically weaker sections. If you get 90? above in 12th board your first sem fees will not be taken. 80-90% holders get 50% off and 75-90% holders get 25% off in first sem fees. College also provide 10000 cash scholarship per subject to students who get 9 cgpa in odd sem. Military man students gets 5% off in fees I am in the first year of college itself so I don't get placement but I heard that avg placement to computer engineers is 6 lakh and high package goes to 12-13 lakh domestic and foreign packages goes to 60-70 lakh sometimes

Life at the campus is decent. There are 2 instutions under kccitm one which is governed by aktu and one by Ipu . So both have different fests and their timings. But annual fest is same which is fuel fest which is organised in February month. Cultural extravaganza and anugoonj also held. Inspiration tech fest happens in college in sep Or October month. Library is quite big in our college and around 1 lakh books are available there. You would find books related to your course very easily. All computer labs and auditoriums are fully air condtioned and classes have tube light and several fans with good ventilation. There is one basketball, one volleyball, one tennis court, 4 cricket practice pitch, kabbadi ground, cricket and football ground and indoor games as chess, table tennis is available. Film and photography society, theatre and dramatics society, quizz and debate society , fashion society, sports society, music society, fine arts society, dance society are available in college

There are two modes by which one can take admission in btech degree in KCCITM. Either you can take through 12th percentage or by entrance exam through jee mains . Application form will be available on its official website and application fees is 800INR and it's date and btech degree fees are shown on its website. There should be made improvement in admission process cause there is a vast difference in students going through 12th based and by jee mains . Students getting 80?ile in jee mains and students getting 60% in 12th board both get computer engineering.
