Remarks

Sinhgad, Narhe college is the overall average remark. I dont like college campus but faculty is very very good. And the bad thing is that in now a days, from december to till date, teachers are on strike.

Entrance Preview

When i took admission, JEE was the compulsory entrance exam for getting admission in engineering. There were no any process of interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical, it is good and it has very good scope and various jobs in all fields. Good focus on practical learnings. Our timetable of college is designed as more practical sessions than theory sessions.

Internships Opportunities

No, it is not provided by college. Interested students need to search the internship by self and do this with the help of college permission.

Placement Experience

Actually placement is the activity which is for final year students. I am in third year, thats why i dont know about this in detail. But i hear that companies coming in our college are TCS, Zensar, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Accenture, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, it is affordable to all normal peoples. But according to education given and facilities, it is not good. Fee structure is as follows: Open: 80,000/- OBC: 44,000/- ST,NT: 8,0000/- SC: 250/-.

Faculty

I dont know, our college faculty is really good or not. But i like my faculty. Because they always help me. I have participating in Gokart event, all faculty teaches me each and every small thing in this. My interaction is very good with my faculty.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Review of SITS, Narhe.

1) As I wasn't scored good enough in JEE so I couldn't get admission top engineering collges that time. Sinhgad Institute was good option for me because it's renowned institute in Pune and also has good placement record compared to other collges like JSPM, AISSMS etc. 2) Yes I got rejected from many institutes such as VIT, PICT, PCCOE due to low scores in entrance. 3) Admission procedure for college is according to guidelines given by State common entrance test cell. To get admitted to any colleges in Maharashtra Or all over india has one entrance exam i.e. JEE mains. Cutoff of my campus was somewhere around 85-90 percentile when we got admissions.
