Remarks

The college is very nice for us as I experienced till now. The facilities are good and also the faculty members are dedicated towards the upliftment of students.

Entrance Preview

This college is not having in particular entrance examination. I took direct admission with almost negligible donation. They didn't conduct any counselling or interview session.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is mostly according to the prescribed Syllabus of Anna University. As this is just a degree course, so not much stress is laid upon the course content still it is ok.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are also not provided by the college. We are supposed to find some on our own. Outside as our seniors told, they pay a stipend of around 4000 on an average.

Placement Experience

Placements are given but not much here. Most of our seniors either went for master degrees or started practicing in different fields.

College Events

Events are organised on random occasions.We use to have a lot of guest lectures, seminars and workshops.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is affordable and including hostel facilities we pay something around 1 lacs 5 thousand every year. Miscellaneous charges are taken separately.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided only to students securing good marks in final semester exams.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are also supported here. Sports meet, Dance competition, celebrity meets are organised here.

Hostels are provided upon extra fee payment and it is of nice quality.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is also highly diverse. Some of our seniors use to come for interaction sessions.

Exam Structure

Exams are taken on yearly basis. We are supposed to appear for a single exam for each year followed by internals.

Faculty

The faculty members are all too good. Talking about their qualifications I am not sure but their style of teaching says it would be of optimum class.

Placement Experience:

Students from 3year final sem will eligible for campus placements ,sorry i did not attend any of the interviews, a student without an arrear will be eligible for interview, my plans is to study masters in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Infrastructure is good staff are good teaching. It is quite easy to attach with the teacher. Staff suggest teaching with the slide and PPT they are not same as like in school which is they will like do was spoon feeding.

Good Learning Environment But need more Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.

I actually for two other colleges in Chennai, one is Loyola and the other is dgvc. I didn't get seat in Loyola even though I got very good marks 552/600 which includes a centum in commerce and 99 in accounts. After that I applied in dgvc where at first I didn't get counseling but once I paid fees in this College am jain college I got admission there..I asked for a refund in my college but they didn't provide me so I joined here.
