Course Curriculum Overview
As I completed my bachelor in urban planning, hence I pursued urban management for master. The faculty to ratio is amazing as it is a very niche program, the ratio is somewhere between 1:1 and 1:2 The faculties are very well qualified, most of them have completed their PhD The exams are in every 3months, the 2years is divided in 6trimsters
Internships Opportunities
I was interning with quantum leap studio and I was provided with stipend Major projects included marketing campaign and strategy building for an ongoing project. The internship helped me in knowing the industry much better
Placement Experience
The placement in Urban management is very good. The avera Package is 10.5LPA and many companies visited from urban domain like GT, Janagraha and many consulting groups like Kpmg ey pwc etc All students got placed in my batch.
Fees and Financial Aid
As being the niche course the course feels expected to be same for the next 2 years The financial assistance is through loan that the college is tied up to for easy paperwork. But apart from that no job on campus, but internship are mostly stipend
Campus Life
The annual fest xamboree happen every year and it is for 3 days, where musical nights DJ nights are conducted The college do provides various platforms where we can get in touch with people from business world, like various events such as symposium and summits are conducted
Hostel Facilities
There are single sharing double sharing rooms available and the quality of food is good. The diversity in the food is its USP. The registration happens centrally, there is ala carte which provides seamless service to the students
Admission
There was entrance exam, called XGMT and post that there was a PI round. The XGMT paper involved more quants and qualitative. The PI round involved the in-depth of urban management and urban planning. Knowledge of cities and urban planning is an added advantage.
