What Students Say

Likes

Faculty are of top notch. You wont get any problem.
Library is very big and it has ample space and book. It also has e library.
Canteens is like first aid for bad food. It gives very tasty food when you don't want to eat anything from mess or take break.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so good. It can be improved.
Lecture theaters are not supplied with ac.
Rooms are not in ample amount. 3 students have to leave in one room.

I was intersed in chemistery from begining only.Faulty of IITS are top notch.Some of them have done PHDs in europe and US.We are having 180 students in our chemical branch.Exams are held regularly and calenders are made before next sem.

Internships Opportunities

Iit bhu provide very good placement opprtunity. Especially for circuital branch.Iit bhu is hae huge alumni.You can interact with them and can get inteernship. Intership goes as high as 4 lakh per month.Almost 350 companies visit IIT BHU.

Placement Experience

Placement of IIT-BHU is one of the best that you can ever get especially for non circital branch.I myself chose it over IIT DELHI for this reason.Average package is 21 lakh and median is 16-17 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Iit are very affordable if you are having low income.If your salary is less than 1 lakh per annum then your whole tution fee that is 2 lakh per annum will get remitted.Hardly You have to pay Rs 15000 for acdemic fees per year

Campus Life

Life at IIT campus is vey good.You get a opportunity to explore whole city of varansi. It has lot of places to visit and enjoy.There are lot of clubs. Lkie COPS, bussinees Club,Astro club,etc. There is also cycling and sahyog club.

Hostel Facilities

Though hOSTEL FEES IS VERY LESS.bUT,iT DOESN'T PROVIDE SO MUCH FACILITY.Overall food is just ok type.Food in hostels are not so for all hostels.tHOUGH FOOD IS VERY AFFORDABLE JUST RS 125 PER DAY.YOU CAN ALSO EAT IN CANTEEN.

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Admission

IIT BHU admission is done through JEE ADVANCE.Once candidate qualify for jee mains then they give Jee Advance. Jeee main is given by more than million person and only 2.5 lakh qualify for jee advance.Once you get good rank you can get admission through jossa portal.Candidates register and fill out detailed application form.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
