Remarks

The medical facility is also good. For students, there is a health centre. In addition to this, there is a hospital for IIT students.Kashiyatra (cultural fest), Technex (tech fest), Spradha (sports fest). You get exposure, participation and enjoyment.there are no bad remarks about the college. Marking of paper is not as strict as Kanpur. Grading is light.

Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE in 2006 and scored marks in the range of 190-200.My JEE rank was 3601.My close friend who was having a business of construction suggested me to take Civil Engineering that motivated me to act accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is the best one in the country and there are lot of options available to take courses from various departments of BHU which is not available in any of the IITs.

Internships Opportunities

We have LAN facilities at all our hostels. We have a daily cap of 4 GB with a maximum speed of 16 Mbps. We have courts for badminton, lawn tennis, basketball, football and cricket grounds. The college shares its medical facilities with BHU and is quite adequate. The food in the canteen is good and is open from 12 noon to morning 5 AM. The hostel rooms are adequate for 2 but we need to share with 3 students. No issue was faced related to the infrastructure during my tenure.

Placement Experience

The placements have been on an uphill journey since the conversion of IT BHU to IIT BHU in 2012. The companies coming in for the hiring belong to the software/coding profile, other non-core profiles like a business analyst, operations etc. Other than that, there are companies that recruit for core engineering profiles for all the branches. The average package offered by these companies is as good as in other IITs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for tuition fees and hostel fees leaving that we may have more expenses for travelling and miscellaneous charges which may go around 5 to 6 thousand per month in hands of me the fee structure is increased 4 times when compared to last 2 years

I asses the course curriculum from online website of my college IIT BHU Varanasi where i go through my department CIVIL ENGINEERING and then their is faculty section where all information related to faculty is given their researches, field of interest, qualification, extra qualification and achievements are given.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
