I chose this course because of my interest in engineering and computer programming. Also i was passionate about coding since my childhood. For every 60 students there is a faculty. Faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are conducted in evry month and semester exams are conducted in every 5 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 96435 per year

Internships Opportunities

As per the AICTE norms , internship is provided to students after 1st Year from college itself. After every semester in-house internship is conducted in multiple fields like Artificial Intelligence , ML and programming.

Placement Experience

Placements are decent with average package of 4lpa - 6lpa. Computer/IT are the branches with the highest number of placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro are the prime recruiters. The highest package provided was 1.2 cr in the year 2018 to a student of computer engineering by google.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students getting admission through CAP rounds, they can avail scholarships schemes like EBC and Hostel allownce upto Rs 15000 anually. Fee structure is affordable as per the infrastructure of the college. Also students who have marks in merit can avail the benefit of TFWS where complete tuition fee is waived off.

Campus Life

The annual fest UTSAV is celebrated with great enthusiasm. It is funded by the Rahul Education Society which runs the Shree LR Tiwari College of Engineering. Wide variety of books are available in the library of different fields and also there is a facility of online library.

Admission

The admission in this course can be taken through JEE Mains or MHT CET exams where ther major subjects are PCM. The application form can be found on the NTA website and CET Portal. After the exams it is completely based on CAP Rounds.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. SLRTCE with Great Improvements

The MHTCET conduct exam for colleges in maharashtra for Engineering. It had 3 round for college selection if you got college in first round it had option for freeze or betterment. Aplications dates are given on the MHTCET weebsite itself. It conduct every year for beast colleges in Maharashtra.
