Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Bsc in Computer science because I am very interested in coding and technology. The faculty members of my College are very well disciplined, cooperative and most importantly very knowledgeable and highly qualified. Semester exams are held every 6 months and it's quite difficult to get good marks and maintain a healthy CGPA as marking is very harsh in my department.
Internships Opportunities
There are limited internship opportunities available for students pursuing Bsc in AMU. Companies like Google, Wipro,Tata, Amazon, Lancesoft provide job as well as internship opportunities in AMU campus.
Placement Experience
Students from 5th semester become eligible for campus placements. Many well known companies like Google, Wipro, Tata, Amazon visit Campus for placement purposes. The highest and the average package provided by the companies in AMU is 6lpa and 14 lpa. Around 60% students get placement every year from AMU in Bsc computer science. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue MS from abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bsc computer science from AMU is a very affordable course for everyone as it's fees is around 4000 per year excluding hostel fees. There are a number of government scholarships and scholarships provided by AMU itself for financially weak students.
Campus Life
Different departments organize their annual fests during the month of February and March. Zarf and Asaas are two most famous fests of AMU. AMU has one of the world's most famous library 'Maulana Azad Library '. Football, hockey and cricket fields are also very well maintained in the campus and there are a variety of indoor games available for students also like pool, carrom, table tennis and many more. There are several clubs run by students like Drama Club, Fusion Music club, Debating Club.
Admission
Admission in AMU is taken by clearing entrance examination of Bsc whose form comes out on the website of AMU and the form price is around 700 rupees and the test is taken in the month of May . The eligibility criteria for appearing in the bsc entrance examination of Bsc AMU is that you should have at least 60% marks in class 12th.
