Remarks

1st i gave jee main entrance exam it's a tough one but with my preparation i have secured 72% & rank 2lakh 74thousand but my aim is to conduct btech in cse domain so my mark is not fullfilled by all govt colleges in odisha so i took admission in this college it was the worst decision in my life but however i have to complete 4years of hell life here thank you to giving me a chance to represent my feelings & thinking about this college

Course Curriculum Overview

I just want to employed as soon as possible so i took admission in btech Cse branch. All the faculties aren't eligible to taught us but there is few faculties are very humble & talented. Most of teachers teaching through ppt slides & some teaching through traditional chalk & boards

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is the first priority of college,if students are not able to give payment of fees at time they will not allowed to give exam, they won't help in financial issues they only advertise about their college campus placements but in reality it is a lie

Campus Life

1.5

Very hygienic foods, very poor hostel rooms, maximum students drinks alcohol, smoking weeds & cigarettes in hostel rooms due to very bad foods students cook by themselves inside rooms by having induction

Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

GIET AND IT'S INSIGHTS

I have not applied for any other colleges as I have left with no choice at the end for pursuing Btech and I have not scored good in JEE as I wasn't preparing for opting BTech. So for choosing private colleges in odisha I chose this because the place is remote and it is heard that the climate is very pleasant. The admission process starts at the month of May an amount of 20000 for seat reservation is taken which will be reduced from the final fees i.e. 2,39,000 when you come to the college admission that helds in the month of July inside the campus. The students and parents should come with the credentials required for the admission which are copies and originals of student's adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, Migration certificate, Father's adhaar card . This fee structure is according to 2023...Read More
