Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my rank and also because this is a pretty chill course compared to others. Faculty student ratio is about 1:10 All the senior professors are PhD scholars and have a degree from the IITs. 2 cyclic tests and 1 end semester exams are conducted each semester. It's not tough to pass, we manage by studying a day before.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the major companies provide internship opportunities here on campus, but many students prefer off campus internships because it offers more stipend, students spend time in developing skills such as web development and DSA to get better internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

Internship from 3rd year, placements on the 4th. Highest package last year was 51 lpa and average was around 12 lpa. All the top MNCs visit the campus as it is the number 1 NIT and NIRF 9. Placement percentage is around 90 percent. Higher studies after b.tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such fees hike in general, the entire fee structure for 4 years is disclosed in the beginning itself. The total cost to study is around 10 lacks for the total 4 years. The most financial aid is the income based fee remission. I didn't get any job as of now, I'm only a fresher.

Campus Life

Annual fest -- Festember , around September end. Tech fest -- pragyan , around June All the required text books for semester exams are present in the library, apart from that there are also latest newspapers and several biographies and research books. Classroom has a white board, projector screen, Mike, many speakers, fans , lights, and benches. Annual sports meet -- Sportsfete Website -- delta

Hostel Facilities

A skeleton bed, chair, table, bulb, fan, almirah. Meal quality is average, menu keeps on changing from time to time. Registration process is simple, it's just a two hour wait on the first day you come to campus. BHEL colony around 3kms from campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 97000 per year

Admission

Eligibility -- > 75 % in 12th Qualified JEE Mains All details regarding application is available on the NTA website. I don't have any reservation, I'm just a general other state male.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
