Remarks
Good college if someone wants to join through ICET but can't expect great placements. Will suggest to appear for MAT/CAT or any other national level entrance exams and opt for other better management college if wants to have much exposure to MBA course. I
Entrance Preview
I appeared for ICET, an entrance exam to get admission to MBA or MCA in the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. I got some 2000 rank which was fair enough to get top MBA colleges in AP or Telangana. I knew about the college Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT), it's one of the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad after campus such as Osmania University and JNTU. This made me to opt for my MBA degree from CBIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum had the option to have dual specialization with two years full time post graduation course affiliated to Osmania University.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship with Sujana Metals Ltd. and my topic was "training and development". No companies were visited the campus for internship, it's the students have to search for it and get the internship done. No stipend received.
Placement Experience
To be frank placements was not great compared to engineering students. Very few companies came for campus placements.
College Events
Yes, I had a yearly college festival specially organized by engineering students. Even MBA students also organize yearly feast and invites other MBA colleges to participate in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There was a hostel facility, but I have not opted for it. I was staying with my friends in a rented flat some 13 km away from college. 2bhk rent was some 5000 at that time and it was shared among us.
Fees and Financial Aid
Don't know. But scholarship was there for SC/ST candidates.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was 7:3 boys and girls. We were 60 students and out of them 12 are of management quota seats. Extracurricular activities are not much may be once in a month some seminars or any guest lecture organized. The computer lab was well maintained and there were both indoor and outdoor sports too.
Alumni/Alumna
Not much. Rarely had interaction with the seniors as they were much busy with their internship and thesis preparation in their fourth semester.
Faculty
Faculties had many years of experience in teaching MBA students and were good.
