Course Curriculum Overview

I chose PGDM as this is a management course that is going to upskill my knowledge and management skills in further perspectives. VBS is a good choice for me as the faculty ratio is 1:5 and the faculty here are well qualified holding PhD degree along with there research paper publication. Faculties here make lectures engaging and provide timely guidance .The curriculum here is well structured. VBS follows trimester system including mid term and end exam .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are offered by the college. The companies that come here is General Mills, Deloitte, Dabur etc. The roles offered here are wealth manager and financial Analyst and business analyst.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for the placement if they have passed all the semester. The average package is 8LPA and the highest package is 12LPA for domestic companies. Companies Like deloitte, pwc and KPMG comes on the campus. The percentage of students getting placed is 96%

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the PGDM course is 800000 for 2 years. The college offers Merit and Need-based Scholarships for the students. The student can take the scholarship from the department and fill it.

Campus Life

The life at the campus is perfect. The college held many fests such as "Aarohan". The overall infrastructure of the college is good. The Library has many Books and Journals. All the classrooms are fully equipped.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel facility is provided by the college. They offer both ac and non-AC rooms. The Girls and Boys Hostel are separate including the mess. The menu changes every day and every week. the food quality is good. The hostel is affordable. The locality is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 185000 per year

Admission

I filled out the form from the college website and they asked for CMAT/CET scores after that there was a GD/PI round and then they announced the results to students by sending mails and after that, there was a documentation process. It was easy process.

Interview Experience

There was no GD for the admission process. However, there was a personal interview round held by the college faculty. After the PI, the results were announced. They check your overall communication skills.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

A must needed college review

the other colleges i have applied for were NL Dalmia, Wellingkar and Deakin University apart from VBS. I applied to many colleges like NL Dalmia, welingkar, great lakes, flame university, kj somaiya, nmims and got a confirmed admission call from NL dalmia, flame and kj.
