Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B.tech CSE data science. It is a very good course and provides a very good opportunities for future. It has a very high salary. My big brother who is a software Engineer advised me to take this course.

Internships Opportunities

College offers very good internships to every student in college. Internships varies on basis of project and overall cgpa and sgpa. Final year projects helps students to get a very good placement of a healthy package.

Placement Experience

Many companies offers placement in our college. Such as Tcs,Wipro,L&T, Infosys and many more . Our college offers placement mainly in 3rd year . All the major companies have visited our college to offer placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

My campus has a very good placement record. It provides very good placement to ever student. And also provide provide internships in different companies. It also provides various scholarships to every student.

Campus Life

Campus is very good.Our campus is green and very joyful. Even our seniors are very cooperative and friendly.our campus has different clubs like music club, sports club,gym club etc. our college organises various cultural activities and other curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good and clean. Every room has it's personalized toilets. Our hostels have 24/7 water supply and with good internet. Every student enjoys their hostel Life with their friends. Our hotel mates are so friendly we have not to remember our family. This is another family for us besides ous own family.

Hostel Fee: INR 66000 per year

Admission

I choose this college because it is a good college and provides very good placement. It has a very good placement record.it provides a average salary package of 350000 . And has various opportunities. My admission has gone very smoothly without any problem.the college authorities are very good and cooperative. My overall experience is very good.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Value For money college

My decision really came down to ROI and getting the CSE branch specifically. I tried for top government colleges like OUTR and VSSUT, but my JEE rank wasn't high enough for Computer Science there. I actually got Electrical at C.V. Raman, but I was determined to study CS, and private universities like KIIT were way out of my budget. It eventually came down to GEC vs. GITA. I picked GEC because the fees were slightly lower and the hostels are much better since we get attached washrooms. The admission process was super smooth; I applied through OJEE counseling based on my JEE Main rank, and once the seat was allotted, I just went to campus for document verification. They also have management seats if your rank is lower, so getting in isn't too stressful....Read More

GEC- The Mnemosynes Way

Well to start I gave my JEEMAINS 2021 exam but unfortunately at the same time on MAy 4th MY died and I got off track for about 5 months and when I again got myself back anyhoe then I got the opportunity to go for GEC and as far I have gathered info and seen through my eyes the fees with the reutn of knowledge we got its far more better than many colleges. My main reason to choose this college is a bit un-traditional as I wanted to go somewhere far, cause I knew I can do what I want as I was stusying about coding from class 11.
