- The campus is under construction so there are a lot of facilities that are yet to be completed.
- The quality of food is mess is sometimes horrible.
- The classrooms are not yet finished so classes are conducted in the rooms designed to be ug labs
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is designed in a way to encourage scientific thinking and well rounded knowledge in all aspect of basic science. The faculty are some of the finest in the country, with a lot of experience and expertise. The exam were conducted timely and the difficulty was moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the students do multiple internships during their course, especially during summer and winter vacation. A lot of student gets internship in institutes like IISc, IITs and other IISERs. The faculties encourage and guide about internships and projects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees includes, hostel charges, tution charges as well as library and gym charges. Except the semester fees, one has to pay the mess fees separately that is Rs150/- per day. There are several scholarship opportunities like DST inspire.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is still under construction. But the campus still has some of the finest sports facilities like a running track, foot ground, basketball court, tennis and volley ball court. There is a library with several useful books to consult and refer for studies. There are also several events and festivals celebrated throughout the year
Admission
The admission is based on ranks obtained in IAT or Iiser aptitude test. The application form and other details including reservation, seat matrix can be found on iiseradmission.in. Candidates must have three out of physics, chemistry, biology and maths to attend the IAT exam.
