Won't recommend to join this college

Didn't have a good experience. No support from teachers, bad standard of teaching. No proper companies coming up for placement. Even the canteen wasn't in good condition. Labs weren't well equipped. Only pressure given to attend lectures and write assignments.

I gave the CET entrance exam to join engineering college. I scored 93/200 in the exam. I joined this College under the Muslim minority quota. There was no interview for admission, it was on your marks and the availability of seats.

I selected the EXTC course as it had good opportunity in future, however by the time I completed the course, this field lacked in new jobs. The course was okay. Pretty outdated syllabus. Practical was based as per syllabus. We had everyday practical on each subject. Elective subjects were at the final year.

They never thought of providing any such stuff. There was no support from the teachers either. Everyone was busy in completing the syllabus and giving assignments to write. Thats the internship we got.

The placement was pathetic. TCS and Teradata were the major companies hiring very few students. Only 15 out of 80 of my batch mates got selected with a package of 3.4lac. After that all non technical, poor rated companies came up for placement which was not expected from the college TPO department.

The event was okay. Ambrosia was the event name, it was a 3 day affair. Robo wars, Debate session, some technical games, coding challenges, fashion show, award night, Dj night were the part of the festival. We also had Gang day, traditional day which was a bit awesome. Only the college crowd participated. The college helped in managing the event

The feea was a bit expensive. 95k a year. It was approximately around 3.8lacs for the complete 4 year course. Very expensive for the middle class.

We got scholarship under the minority quota. I got 25k every year as scholarship. It helped in reducing the fees amount. OBC/EBC students also got scholarship amount of about 50k a year, which was very helpful for the students.

We didn't had any such. A 2 day sports event takes place every year, which was a bit good, however they never gave attendance if we miss lectures for the sports, so no1 could go. There were many opportunities but the staff never gave attendance for the same, hence no one bothered to go for activities

The college did not have any hostels in the campus for students. It had separate hostels a bit away from the college. It was only for the students and the cost was around 45k a year.

The college didn't provide any as such. We had interaction only with our seniors who helped us in our project. Other than that there is nothing with the alumni

The course was divided into 8 semesters where each semester had 2 unit tests, practical exams and viva by external professors at the end and then the semester exam. Its quite hectic at the end of the semester, with submissions and practicals.

The faculty was okay. Some teachers were good, very good in teaching and supportive. Some teachers were really bad, arrogant, and had no knowledge on teaching things. Most of the teachers were M.E graduate with very leaa experience in teaching. Only few teachers had a good way of teaching, others just lacked in that.
