Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

When student is in preparation phase they think to serve the nation help poor people but the reality is just opposite when they enter in college they just fight to themselves to pass tha yearly exam, after internship they again fight to got a MD/MS seat because everything is waste without post graduation in this field because you also have to settle your life and you need money without pg there is very less job but also after post graduation there is no 100% that you earn properly then doctors fight for super specialisation like DM/SS/MCh and all this happens and took nearly 11-15 years of your to settle a little bit and just thought in this phase you can't do what you want during neet ug preparation time . In college averages strength is 120-250 and In each subject there is 1 HOD,2-3 associate proff,3-7 assistant proff,JR,SR,tutor and Pg (number varying with departments). In india teaching methodologies is very poor from top to peripheral college all proff just read ppt.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Every medical college under AKU have their own hospital for intership with basic fee of 20000/- But some pvt college under this university have paid for thier interns. Their is no such campus placement for medicos they just start preparations for post graduation to earn more.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees is different in government and private college as in government college it varies from 1000-1,00,000/year and in private it varies from 5,00,000 - 5,00,00,000/year. In many states like haryana,Maharashtra some government colleges fee are in lakh and it increases yearly. There are many scholarships programs run by NGOs,Govt that can avial pr students like TADPL,RCSM,DMER,HDFC Bank education crisis,Swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarships etc.But apart from this maximum students during ug life they earn from their skills like blogging,Youtuber, Mentorship,Teaching etc. There is no campus placement thing in medically college as after 4.5 year one year compulsory internship have to be done with stipend varies from 10000-35000 depend upon states .In max private college there is no stipend for internship this is the worst part of medical feild.

Campus Life

5

Life in medical college is best in campare to others stream because in medical college every small to big events is organised by students not by administrators. A event of 1 lakh or a event of 1 crore everything is managed by students this is the best part of college life to learn management. In a medical college event are like 1 CFD fest(college foundation day), Many sports events monthly wise, Intercollege sports events, and in extra curriculum activities like poster presentations, cultural events, online events like meme competition, reels competition, esports, scientific events. And conferences are compulsory things for every department. Apart from this many Organisations are working like IMA,NMO,GAIMS etc who work with medicos and work for medicos.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities for old government college is very poor their rooms and not in condition for live but there is no other option for students. But in newly prepared college their is well maintained hostel with every facility like cheap mess,24x7 electricity,RO water, AC, elevators, security , canteen , library etc. And nearly every govt college are situated in city with heavy population and there is many hostel and rented houses are available but maximum private college is situated in outer area and you must have to reside in campus.

Admission

Admission in MBBS courses is via a national entrance exam called NEET-UG entrance examination which is conducted by NTA board. A form is released nearly every year in Jan-Feb at NTA offical website and candidate's can register there with uploading all information(name, address, marks, categories parents name etc),photographs, documents and a basic registration fee is required for all candidates and fee depends on category (Gen-1700,Obc-1600,other-1000) Talking about reservations by taking an example Let's take a xyx medical college with 100 seats then its 15% seats is filled by all over Indian students and 85% seat is filled with state's students . In AIQ reservation is Obc ncl-27%, ST-7.5%,SC-15%,EWS-10%,PWD-5% and 85% seat reservation is based on their state reservation category.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
