All you need to know for IIT BHU

I wanted to go iit always irrespective of which branch I get.so I took ceramic branch because it is a chill branch and we can get time for non core too. Faculty ratio is OK.it is like 1 professor for 150 students. Professors in IIT are highly qualified .They have done PHD from very prestigious foreign institute. In one semester there are mid term and end term examination. Mid sem exam carry less weightage and end sem carry more.The difficulty level was not so hard it was normal.

There are many companies which come for internships like doubtnut offering stipend of 20000 per month with role of content development. AlphalCs offering stipend of 30000 per month. WIPRO offering star interns stipend of 25000. You have to do projects according to the internship in the company you desire. Like if you want sde role you can make projects in dsa in java .or make projects on web development.

In 3rd year you can apply for internships and if you do it well you can get PPO(pre placement offer). Otherwise companies come every year in our campus for 4th year students and give a decent amount of package for those who study. 91% students were placed last year which is pretty good. I'm planning to work hard during these 4 years so that I can get a good placement at end of my 4th year

Fees structure in iit depends on your income.if family income is above 8 lakh , we have to give all fee(250000 per year).and if income is less than 5 lakh then their is relief in admission fees.also if you are sc/st admission fee for one semester is 6350. There is also scholarship named DOAA in IIT BHU so we can apply for that also. Job scenario is obviously good in our iit. Average package is 200000

Annual fest named kashiyatra is held on January and tech fest named technex is held in March. Almost all types of books are available in library and students can easily access them. Amenities are kind of good. Room is filled with proper lightings and fans and projectors are also available. Sports culture is very good in IIT BHU. we also secure good ranks in inter iit every year. All types of extra curricular activity are carried in the campus like dance in dance club music arts designing animation coding etc.KU club is club for poor children living on bastis. We visit them and help them in education.

Room are okiesh as they are very old.in first year in girls hostel we get 3 seater room with 3 table 3 chairs 2 cupboard and 1 fan. Quality of food can be said that it is good and food is served well. Fees for hostel and mess for 1 semester is 15000 which is affordable for a middle class family. Registration in hostel is done physically on the date assigned to all students.

I came to know about IIT lately in class 12th.But the Time for preparation was almost gone.so I decided to take drop and give some time to my goal.i went sikar,Rajasthan for my coaching in Matrix institute. There was good environment for studies and health also.I cleared jee mains 1st attempt with 98.3 percentile and was happy with it.In second mains attempt I got 97.2 percentile. Then I registered for jee advance examination. They asked for aadhar card,pan card, category certificate (if any) ,income certificate and some photos and the basic personal details.we can apply for jee advance from the jee advance website.And you can check all required things from the jee advance official website such as fees , eligibility criteria etc. I was a general category student so I didn't receive the category benefits. Admission process in IIT was all online almost.Both tuition and mess fee were submitted online and they asked to bring all documents with you in the institute.
