I choose this course because i was interested in pursuing engineering. I find the faculty of engineering in amu(zhcet) best . The teachers come to class timely. The try to make us understand the topic as clearly as possible. They use smartboard and other techniques to make us understand the topics clearly. They solve numerical problems in front of us as wellas give us homework . Student ratio: in a class of about 102 students there are about 20 girls and rest are boys. The faculty teacher are well qualified. Most of the Faculty teacher has completed there masters . And are pursuing phd Term exams where very timely as according to the scheduled provided to us . There was two mid semester exams and the best of them was counted . Each mid semester exam was of 25 marks . Then we were told to submit assignment of 15 marks. And at last 60 marks end semester exam was conducted.the exams were moderate as per questions levels.the questions came form the notes provided by teachers. Pyq is avai.

The fees is nominal. Any student who is even coming from a poor family can afford it. As compared to other engineering colleges. Even the hostel is nearly free . Only we need to pay 1400 per month dinning charges + 250 deficit( changes) . There are many scholarships which we can get and the college also informs us about such scholarship.

The annual fest in amu is sir syed day. It is conducted on 16 October. In library very large variety of books are available.any student can issue a book and read it without any charges.books and jouurnals regarding almost all fields of study are available in library. The name of the library is maulana Azad Library. In classroom, we have smartboard. There are many sports and extra curricular activities available on campus like football, cricket , skating hockey , hockey ,basketball , swimming, tennis , badminton , gym extra and many indoor games as well are available like carrom , chess , billiards table tennis extra. There are many clubs in which we can join

I live in hostel. I got allotted to a room but generally rooms are not alloted easily . We need to wait then only rooms get allocated. In rooms we have a cupboard for each student. Meal quality is good . To avail dinning student needs to pay only 1400 as monthly charges . To register for hostel students needs to come to provost office of the allotted hostel and fill the form when the room is available he will be allotted a room . Hostel is very affordable.

Any student who is appearing in 12 or has passed 12 is eligible to appear in amueee(aligarh muslim University engineering entrance exam) . Student gets admission in zhcet in b.tech course through qualifying amueee. Student need to fill amueee form which is easily available on amu website in controller of examination section . Student can easily find the syllabus and the procedure of the test in this section only. To find out the addmission dates a student needs to visit amu controller site on a regular basis . There are reservation for students . If the student belongs to lower caste i.e. sc st or obc he/she can get reservation benifits. Or if the parents of the students has studied from amu he/she can get reservation benifits. Or if the parents of the students is employed by amu he/she will get reservation benifits. Student can also get reservation through distance quota . Or if the student was studying in amu within 3 years he can get reservation benifits.
