- The hostel are ok but the outing timings are very less. It should be till 8 atleast.
- The college doesn't have that much campus placements.
- As a student of petrochemical engineering i cant apply for chemical engineering jobs .
Course Curriculum Overview
I took up this course as it is very relevant and in demand. The need for petroleum products is very kuch in demand and has a good scope for future jobs. The petrochemicals are a very important part of life so it is am evergreen branch. It would have been good if we were able to apply for chemical engineering jobs also.
Placement Experience
Students of final year ar eligible for placement. Campus placements are not very good. Although many reputed companies visit but the selctions are little low. The average package is around 6-8 lpa and a small percentage of students are selected.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is very inexpensive and affordable. It is a central university due to which it provides many benefits. The fees for one year is eight thousand for my course. And mess fee is 1500 for girls. All this make it very efficient and affordable and the quality of education is very good.
Campus Life
The overall college experience is good. The are many events that happens . There is also a hall week in which many sports, literary and cultural events are there. Then the foundera day is also celebrated like a festival.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms and hostels are nice. The food menu is also good but the tasty is like how you would except gostel food to taste like. The hostel and dining charges are very low that makes is very affordable and are easily available.
Admission
You have to give an entrance test of university for selection. The difficulty level is on the higher end. There are quota for internal, obc and sc st, children of alumni and children of employees. You can find the application form on the university website.
Faculty
The teachers are very qualified. The seats are lesser than other braches due to which it has a 2:1 students to teacher ration. They are also easily available and are helpful except for some. Overall they are nice and helpful.
