so i decided i wanted this college right after i completed 11th std boards. it wasn't as far as the other colleges. it wasnt strict but not too liberal either. you have the best timetable each sem (almost) and you will def get marks if you study just a bit. has one event or the another going on (most of the events are held by easwari but youll have access to most of them) .canteen food is also nice and you have almost nothing to worry about. just study every now and then, work on wtv skills you want to and youre set...Read More

Well, SRM is where i got CSE in the first round of counselling itself, and since it is a prestigeous institution with 100% placement under CSE, I was satisfied with the college. I also got a very good rank in wbjee, but the quality of education is falling tremendously here in bengal, the crime rates are getting high too. I also scored well in ComedK, but the expenditure of Bangalore life is as high as SRM fees, so, practically it was better for me to choose SRM. I didn't get selected in VIT for CSE. My rank was ot great, nor was my preparation. One can get admission in SRM through their entrance examination SRMJEEE. Someone with 60% aggregate in higher secondary is eligible to sit for this examination. Seat allocated is based on ranks and seat availbility, which changes every year....Read More

I applied in Manipal and vit but the culture in Manipal and strictness is not good as compared to SRM. VIT WAS very far from Chennai Central and airport while on the other hand srm is just 20 km away from airport and 45 km away from Chennai Central...Read More

I got a good mark in the SRMJEE and had a rank of 6000 in the first exam . I got in VIT but the availability of AI was only in SRM and the placement is also the same . No much difference in placements...Read More

I applied for the entrance test of various colleges namely BITS, VIT, and Manipal university. I was getting the same course in Manipal too but their councelling rounds were very late and till then paid the fees for SRM. Got rejection from VIT but am still confused whay so and according to me I am 90% sure that their ranking system for their entrance test is biased and not fair. Was able to qualify the BITS round 1 but was not getting desired course, and round 2 skipped the exam due to some unforscene circumstances....Read More
