Remarks
The college has very good teaching faculty,the infrastructure is fine,classrooms are well maintained,they support us in co-curricular activities,they also give quality education.they have no gender biasing or ragging happening in the college premises.the teaching staff are really friendly and clear all our doubts regarding academics,they also help us to give our best performances in both curricular and non curricular activities.overall I am having a wonderful time in my college and happy that i have joined here.
Entrance Preview
The entrance test was basically depended on our marks.Students who scored more than 80% in SSLC exam were allowed to choose the science course . The eligibility for commerce was 60% above marks in SSLC . I choose this college because Canara is famous for its science teaching. I am quite interested in electrical field so i choose PCME
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choose is very exciting. Canara has maintained very good labs. There are many projects held in the academic year.
Internships Opportunities
its a pre university college college and does not provide internship or placements offers as it is not a a under graduate course as it is a basic step for taking up a better single determined course in the upcoming years

Fee Structure And Facilities
the fees i paid for my course for the first year was 35000 rupees and for the second year 37000 rupees. Commerce courses are quite cheaper than the science courses . There are special scholarships for students who cannot afford the actual fees.
Campus Life
Every month there are many extra curricular activities held.Sports activities are supported and encouraged by the college.
Hostel Facilities
Since the college is basically for the localities ,there is no arrangement for a separate hostel facility in our campus. Students who come from distant places have to arrange for their own hostel facility or paying guest facility or for their own residing places.
Exam Structure
There are frequent tests held every month and there is a midterm exam held in the month of September. Labs are held three day in a week for to hours each. The failures in the test are supposed to attend special remedial classes. There are retests held for students who were absent for the actual exams.
Faculty
There are more than 60 faculties overall in the commerce as well as science branch. The lectures teach very well and are highly qualified.
