Course Curriculum Overview
I choose commerce as it is needed in the day to day life. The curriculum contained wide variety of topics such as banking, accounts, tax, statistics and enriches the knowledge of the students and prepares them for the corporate world.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees of post graduation was 50000 per year. The University sports fees is 500.The University Career guidance fees is 300.The University Cultural fees is 400. Nss fees is 5 rs and Adhyayana peeta fees is 10.
Campus Life
The institution conducts various programs such as intercollegiate commerce and science fests, Annual day, Musical day, Traditional day, Talents day, Union day and various other events. Annual sports meet is also conducted. The infrastructure is really good with seminar hall and labs.
Admission
I did not apply to other colleges. I had directly applied to Canara College itself considering its popularity with regards to the quality education the institution provides with affordable cost. I experienced smooth admission process.
Faculty
The faculties of the college are very friendly. They adopt traditional classroom teaching method as well as projector method. Whenever we students have any doubts with regards to curriculum they solve it. Many students clear the exams due to amazing teaching of the faculties.
Night Life
Our college has a gym with various equipments and a cafeteria where we enjoy good hygenic food. Normal college timings is 9.30 to 4.15. There are various food outlets outside the college campus where students go and grab a bite.
