Remarks

definitely not a negative remark because. I choose this college for myself and more over I told my parents in 10 th std itself that I will be going to this college. so they gradually obliged and I ended up in my own choice of college

Course Curriculum Overview

5

it was a wonderful pcmb course exams and tests were regular.it wasn't hectic neither was it chilled out.totally good learned a lot in exams.during my 1st year forgot to take hall ticket and all.ran again to bring it back.

Placement Experience

4

It was pre university education to begin with so there was nothing like job opportunity or internship and all.but a nice education before getting into our professional courses like mbbs, engineering etc.

College Events

4

we do have a talents day in the college.in which all sections.including science, commerce students come together to participate in the talent round competition.it was a wonderful experience.in 2 years in that college.I had participated in dance competition.it was really a nice experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

for us it was 13000 rupees in 2009.it was reasonable for a pre university courses because.I have seen other college fees and all.its more than half a lakh which is really costly for any middle class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

never really had scholarship or loan facility because it was a pre university course and fees was reasonable to pay.because it was to be paid only once a year which was really good in a way and convenient at the same time

Campus Life

4

we did have workshops in different colleges where we were allowed to go and participate which was nice to go and meet new people and interacting with them.since I was a science student.had chemistry, physics and biology lab activities every week.

Hostel Facilities

4

we din have a college hostel as such because it was a private pre university and degree college.so I stayed in a different private hostel which was really nice and met few really nice people der.

Alumni/Alumna

not much.but we can learn from all the experiences which they have shared throughout when we were their juniors.and they tell us not to repeat those mistakes and all.so ya they kind off guide us

Faculty

4

well qualified teachers, Really have good knowledge about the subject.chilled out people at the same time strict enough to teach us the subject that's all matters at the end of the day for us as students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
