Remarks
The pros of the college are: Good social life, good teachers, great infrastructure, good equipment. The cons of the college are: The placement scenario, less internships, canteen food.
Entrance Preview
I had given the MH-CET in the year 2013. I had got 110/200. I got the admission via the Muslim minority quota. There was no interview process. I did the EXTC course because of the scope in the future and i had heard the faculty were quite good in that field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects were prescribed by the Mumbai University. The subjects like Digital Electronics and Microwave Radar Engineering, were the best ones for me. Research initiatives are now being taken up by the college faculties. The elective options were given in the final semester. They were speech processing and TNM.
Internships Opportunities
No, internship facilities were provided by the college. Some of the external internships are now being approved by the college, which a plus for the students currently studying. More efforts are needed though for the students to get good internships.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario was quite dry. A very saddening conditions. Although they provided training facilities to get into a job. The training facilities were very good. They conducted training facilities twice for the students. But only two major companies recruited students from this college, one being TCS and other one TeraData.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees weren't that affordable. It was as follows during the four years respectively, 98375, 105000, 99500, 99800
Fees and Financial Aid
We got scholarship under the Muslim minority quota, and there were scholarships for the EBC and OBC people also. It was around 25000 for Muslim minority, and much more for the other scholarships.
Campus Life
Guest lectures from alumni, companies, workshops were there which helped us understand more about the technologies we were learning in our syllabus.
Hostel Facilities
No i wasn't residing in the hostel. Heard from friends staying in hostel that they were quite okay. Food and accommodation was good.
Alumni/Alumna
There was no alumni network provided by the college. Mostly we used to get help through our seniors only.
Exam Structure
Exams were okay. Two unit test a semester and practical exam and the final exam. It was a good culture.
Faculty
The teaching quality of the teachers was quite remarkable. He teachers are mostly PHd holders of at least a Masters holder. They are very well qualified for the job and they teach excellently. They were very much interactive with the students. The standard of teaching was amazing.
