Course Curriculum Overview

4

I really am interested in building designing and the aesthetics of the construction. I wanted to choose a career which gave me the opportunity to showcase my talents and interests. The faculty are a little less compared to the student ratio. The term exams are a little difficult to be honest I myself had failed in one of them but if you go through the syllabus ahead and understand the topic you might crack them without any failure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm being really honest the expenses for this courses are a bit high. If you are from a middle class family like me you might want to have a side income possibility to get through your course expenditure. This course does not have any kinds of job interviews in the campus it self you have to search one for yourself.

Campus Life

4.5

There'll be a ton of programs and events in the campus. It'll be really fun There are a lot of books and journals and thesis related stuff in the library which you can go through. There are a few sport activities which are conducted by the students itself. There is a club which you can join

Admission

Basically, one should have a pass percentage in the intermediate in a recognised college board to be eligible for the course. One should attempt NATA or JEE mains paper 2 to get into this course. Reservations play a role according to your reservation you might get a seat in your desired college according to your marks which are basically considered.

The semester is 6 months long but you complete the semester in 4 months itself. Due to Covid the academic circulum hot disturbed. They added 2- months of summer internship basically you don't have summer holidays. If you like the subjects you don't feel stress throught the semester you may feel stress during submissions

Course Curriculum Overview:

I basically opted because it's no MPC tho there's a little maths it's still manageable because it is school level. It does prepare well for the real world but I wish it doesn't only stick traditionality but also international since graduated students can't directly intern in foreign countries unless they do masters over there. Design exams are 5hrs and others are 3hrs. You might find it difficult if you didn't do research on the respective topic otherwise you're always good to go. Frequency is moderate for exams. I wish faculty is kire about what to bring in a student rather than leaving us to figure out on our own and giving a hand full of time than less time and more work

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after they finish their 5th year or during the 10th semester. Students have to go on internships for one semester mandatorily in their fourth year which is the 7th semester for which they get stipend of around 10-15k for a duration of 6 months. The average package offered by the placements is somewhere around 3-4 lakhs per annum but then again is depends on the work of the student and their potential.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is robust, offering ample opportunities to enhance creativity and skills. While the teaching quality is mixed, it balances out during the overall evaluation process. Some instructors excel in their teaching methods, while others are satisfactory. Assessments are held twice per semester, with mid-term evaluations and end-of-semester examinations. However, the exam schedule can be challenging, as tests are frequently scheduled back-to-back.
