Remarks

My remarks for this college is very diplomatic. as there are many source of enjoyment and amazing life over there but at the end of the day placements and the knowledge gained from there actually matters. In comparison to the fees we pay the services are not up to the mark.

Entrance Preview

The entrance exam that one have to write for getting this college is MPPET. If you are an average student and score in between 60-70 out of 200 then this is the best you can get. The process for admission is, once the scores are out you have to apply for colleges online according to your priority list. In 7-10 days college allotments will be announced. After that all you have to do is go to the college and pay the fees and take admission. There was no interview process. During the online allotment the course also comes auto generated so which ever course is in your allotment you have to choose that. After the first year there are chances to change your branch with the permission of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course I have chosen was BE in information technology. The course was quite good and interesting. There is less focus on practical learning as the Rajiv Gandhi technical university's curriculum has more weight-age for theory so obviously college will follow the same. There is practical session for each subject weekly. There are many initiatives taken by college for android club and robotics and all. The elective options available are Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and communication, Computer science, and Information technology.

Internships Opportunities

The college didn't provided any sort of internship, after the third year you have to go to some company and do internship over there. The certificate has to be shown at the college.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are there. At the beginning 2-3 MNCs select the toppers and some students after that many small BPOs and Stock Exchange investment companies come. They select almost 80% students and the job is of business analyst, so only 5% people join the company but the placement% of the college is shown 80-85% due to these small companies.

College Events

4

There are many technical and cultural event in the college. Every year there is an annual function that is cultural, techfest(technical event of 3 days) and sports meet of 3 days. Despite that there are many events and seminars taking place in the college campus. Due to the amazing infrastructure a lot of people can participate in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very high. During by College time the fees was 88000 per year. There are bank loans available and that's the only way you can afford this college if you belong to a middle class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are provided by the bank. And there are scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students. class topper is awarded gold medal and 30000rs, second rank holder gets silver medal and 20000rs and 3rd rank holder gets 10000rs.

Hostel Facilities

3

I was a day scholar there, but I had friends there at hostel. The rooms were good and 2 sharing. They were well furnished and inside the campus boundary. there were no PGs available. The rent is too high. If you are hosteler then per your per year fees goes up to 150000 rs. The food provided there was Indian food, and quality of the food is moderate too.

Exam Structure

It is a chill culture. Exams are not that frequent. In a semester there is 3 mid semester exams that carry the weight-age of 20 marks and 1 internal assessment of practical subject and 1 external assessment of practical exams, last but not the least the semester exam of 70 marks.

Faculty

3

The HOD and Dean are quite experienced, rest of the professor belong in the age of 26-32. The teachers are also like BTech or MTech pass-outs and trying there career in teaching. They are very interactive as they just a few years elder than us. The standard of teaching is moderate. The teachers lack experience, they are intelligent but teaching is not everyone's cup of tea. The most of the teachers are trying for better opportunities too, so the teachers are not permanent there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as quite relevant and well-structured. Most subjects are updated according to current industry needs. The faculty also puts effort into explaining topics with practical examples instead of just theory which I genuinely appreciate for there hard work The curriculum covers both core concepts and modern technologies which actually helps in preparing for internships and further needs and i choose Artificial intelligence because it is latest and the future is in ai and everyone somewhere related to artificial intelligence and so i decided this course for my furture safe and good future
