Remarks

College management is worst, because they dont give salary to staff on time and because of that staff sits on stike.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE was the entrance exam given by me to enter the engineering field.I scored low 38 marks.I have chosen computer engineering because i was addicted to the computer. I got my admission here because of CAP Round

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Computer engineering course from Mumbai university exam is good. You have to give less exams than other stream. Here from 1st sem to 4th sem,you have to give 6 main papers per sem and from 5th sem to 8th sem only 4 papers per sem.Practicals nd unitest are also concluded every sem

Internships Opportunities

Yes college do provide internship, but these internships are mostly free. As i am from computer field, the company which came for internship was cms it services. Different branch have different companys My experience from cms it services company was good. It was about 3 months training period.

Placement Experience

2

Placement and job apportunities here are not that good the way it should be. Its because of college reputation that no company or very few company give a chance here. The students including me are also not that bright here for the company to get in. Hardly 3 to 4 company comes here per year and that to with the least amount of package

College Events

2.5

2 to 3 events happen here. One technical event named as Area 244 happens. This event is not that big but the student here work very hard to make it successful. People from nearby college come here and take part in it. Cultural event name crystal is done. This event is basically competition between different streams. This event happen on large scale and good people or the naming people are invited here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is different here for different category. General category has to pay whole one lakh rs. OBC category have to pay 50000 rs and SC/ST have to pay 10 to 12k rs only. Other than this the fees for handicapped is different. There is also TFW option but it is only to one student in a class and its fees is also upto 10 to 12k

Fees and Financial Aid

No i dont know any scholarship or facility provided by college. As i was a general category boy,i paid the whole fees and was unaware about any loan scholarship facility in college

Campus Life

2.5

The gender ratio is different according to different streams. The ration of boys in the mechanical stream is above 95 percent and it is opposite in biomedical stream. It is equal in another stream such as IT, Computers, electrical stream. Sports happen in college with good enthusiasm. The labs here are mostly not working due to.electricity problem. Robotics competition and debate competition don't happen here

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facility is very poor Rooms are very small and in one room 3 to 4 student has to stay and also the toilet in same room. As the college lies in the village area, there is no proper electricity facility here and also the taste of water for drinking is of village types taste. There is also no clinics nearby.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior student are helpful because they also have gone through the problem we are suffering now. Cant say anything about alumni network because i have no idea about it.

Exam Structure

Many exams happen within the 6 month of time that is one sem. 2 most unit, one sem, practical exam, viva, submissions, everything happens within the six months of time. Scoring good in most unit viva and practical helps you increase your pointer for the final exam. The main sem exam is of 80 marks and timing for that is of 3 hours

Admission

I got my admission here because of CAP Round. This cap round process is done by dte. There is 3 cap round. For each round you have to fill the form online. Id and password will be provided to you by the dte. If your selected college does not come is first cap round, than you have to fill the second cap round form. If you get selected by your desired college than you will be notified. The main advantage of this process is you dont have to pay donation and only the college fees

Faculty

3.5

As my college lies in village area,40 percent of the faculty are of village types. No proper english,no teaching techniques. But thanx it has 60 percent faculty coming from city who know how to teach. Almost all the faculty is good except examination department. They work like typical government officers. They are very lazy, and they will drag your work day after day
