Course Curriculum Overview

4

Chose the course beacsue it is the trend, and also the only decent tech course the college can offer. Bad student to faculty ratio, the management has taken in like 4000 students in this new year and teachers are around 200, decently qualified faculty, though most are form West Bemgal or South India hence there is a communication problwm seldomly

Placement Experience

0.5

6th semester the studenta are eligible, but since the college doesnot offer any cv templat or any training for placements, the companies often reject us. Mass hirers generally visit, highest pack 20 lpa on campus. Average 2 lpa. 12 percent student getting placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is outrageous compared to the services availed, especially the hostel fee. In the name of the hostel being A.C. they rip off the money, even though the ACs are non functionl halfbof the year. Ok scholarship but it doesnot make a difference when the fee is that high.

Campus Life

1

Zenevia and Uphoria are the tech fests, pretty mediocre. Small libraries with capacity of 100 at most against a strngth of 10000 students. Decent classrooms. Sports facilities are available but the gym is awful as it is not regularly maintained.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Bad hostel rooms, not completely furnished, paint keeps falling off, sanitation services are non existant. Cleanera are send twice a week. Toilets are great example of bad infrastructure, the drains are not positioned correctly, so the water juat hangs out there in bathroom. Too costly and overpriced. Mess food is the worst part of it. Worst food I have had in my life, protein doesnot exist in the menu, too oily and often during evening snacks you never are able to actually get the food due to yhe food being not enough to feed.

Admission

The criteria for the CSE was JEE mains score card or your 12th board marks, Gave JEE Mains, used my score to get the admission and scholarship, no reservation benefits, details downloaded from the college's official website.

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. The College provide 100 percent to you for makeing you a winning horse in it sector but you will be initiated from your side.the most bad things is In first normal classess are going on like 12 and that is not good.some extra curricular activities is not happen in this college .they should be focus on this points.
