Remarks

The college lacks the area of campus. There is no court in the college for sports. Also, the cafeteria of the college is extremely small, though the owner of the cafeteria tries his level best to provide varied snacks to students at economical rates.

Entrance Preview

I was admitted in TIPS, Dwarka through CET (Common Entrance Test) which is compulsory to get admission in any college/course affiliated with GGSIPU. I scored a rank of 3037 in my CET which was fair good. I was getting colleges with higher rank but I opted for this college because of the extremely supportive faculty. The faculty of the college is young and therefore is very friendly and understanding.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course provides a lot of knowledge in various fields. Every year there are amendments in the syllabus for upgrading the knowledge. The only sad part of the matter is that there is no practical knowledge like visits to any firm does not exist for this course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provides with internships to all the students for all the years. There are a lot of options to select from. The stipend of the internships is varied between Rs.2000-Rs.10000; depends upon the company you work under.

Placement Experience

4

I am in the second year and therefore is not much aware of the placements but I am sure that the college provides you with the placement at the end of the course to many well-known companies.

College Events

3

Not much of events can be seen in the college. But, the dramatics society of the college is very energetic and performs a street play every week. There are Official Freshers and Convocation Ceremony known as El-Veda held by the college. A lot of events are seen conducted by the Journalism Department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a private institute, the fee structure is quite fair, is affordable for a middle-class man. The fees for my course does not exceed Rs.300000. It is quite okay as compared with other private colleges. The procedure for paying the fees is equally easy. Now onwards, the college has made the system a little more relaxed. Now the fees can be paid twice a year that is before the start of the semester instead of start of the new academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not provide any such special scholarship or loan facility. As the college is a self-aided institution, it has no such scholarship policy.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is not much happening as the area of the college is limited. The college does not provide with any big lawns, sports court. The campus is very small and thus students enjoy outside the college. The gender ratio for my particular course is a bit varied. Girls are seen less in BBA and seen more than expected in BA(JMC). Overall ratio is equal.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college has no hostel service. But the colleges are surrounded with a lot of PGs for students. The PGs are affordable and safe. In fact, I am one of the students using that facility. The facility of PGs are not provided by the college and the management has nothing to do with it.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful. They are very cooperative with the juniors. They give guidance to juniors regarding the course.

Exam Structure

Internal Examinations are conducted in the college campus itself and have very strict rules for the same. There is a monthly test conducted in the form of presentation, written test, quiz etc. Teachers provide notes after each semester and before the exams which is extremely helpful in studying.

Admission

I applied for Entrance Test CET through an online application form. I was then sent a personal Login ID and a password for further updates. I was sent an Admit Card for the CET which included my Roll No., Centre and some basic instructions. I then gave the test on the declared date. After few days result was out. Then we were asked to pay a fixed amount for Online Counsellings. I then filled the choices of institutes according to my preference and I was alloted this college in the third round of counselling. I could have gone for Spot Counselling as well but I was satisfied with the college alloted to me. I then reported in TIPS with all the required documents including passing certificate, character certificate, address proof etc. (The whole procedure was online except the Entrance Test for obvious.)

Faculty

5

As I already mentioned above, this is the topmost reason I took admission here. The faculty is no doubt very interested to communicate with students. Every member of the college is friendly and cooperative. The faculty is young which makes it a little easier for students to communicate with them.
