Likes

The overall college campus is very good. Outside the campus we can get each and every thing that meets the minimum criteria to live in the hostel.
The college fest is better. In the fest each and every student can participate in tech fest as well as in the cultural fest.
The hostel in which we lived is better and we can get minimum facilities to live in the hostel.

Dislikes

The first thing which I disliked the most is that the meal in the hostel or in the mess in the hostel is totally worst quality.
The second thing which I don't like is that we have to go outside the campus for purchasing any items who lives in the hostel.
The service in the hostel is not fast that is if something is defective or if the light or fan doesn't then the workers comes very late

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course in the stream Information Technology because I love the stream. The faculty members are average in teaching area. They are all very well qualified and took admission in this college in the teaching area. The exam's question papers in every semester is set to it's high standard level so that it shows the confidence and abilities between each and every student, basically it creates a tough competition between all the students. It becomes almost very very difficult to tackle with the question papers in the semester exam which shows the actual competition between each and every student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for the college is better than the hostel or mess fees because in the mess fees the food which are prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner is of totally worst quality. And in case of any type of scholarship, I didn't apply for it because my parents are currently doing jobs for that reason I can't apply for any type of scholarships. Till now I didn't get any job because I am currently studying in 3rd year. Interview or campusing starts from 4th year or 7th semester in 4th year.

Campus Life

Overall I can say it is a good campus and it is a small campus it has a big ground for outdoor games, Gym is also available,etc. Mainly students in 3rd year organise the fest or function like cultural fest and technical fest in the month of March or April.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities is average. In 3rd year every students get the single room but before 3rd year we don't get any single room. As I said the mess food quality is not good or it is nearly worst because the people working in the making of food in the mess doesn't make the food well. So the meal quality is not good.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

My admission process had gone very well. I took the admission in College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat, Purba Medinipur in the stream of Information Technology through JEE Main exam's result. No there is no improvement in the admission process. The application form, fees and dates are all available in the College website itself.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement
