Welcome to NIT Bhopal

The main reason I chose this course is that i have a particular interest in mechanical engineering. The faculy is highly skilled and the student ratio is not quite good as there are more number of boys than girls which is a used to things if one chooses engineering. The faculty teaching methods are immaculate. The exam is not a difficult and not that easy.

The companies which visits our campus are Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase and Co., Atlassian, Delloite etc. The roles offered here in this company are software engineer, analyst etc. The stipend too depends on company to company.

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Me being a tuition fee waiver student who comes from a middle class family saw this as a great opportunity to study at the institute of national importance as if one parents has a family income of less than 1 lakh then there is no fee for tuition.

One of the famous tech fest here at NIT Bhopal is Techno search which gives one a great opportunity to show his/her talent and hence increase the ability of his/her social interaction. The sports facility is highly good with great equipment.

The hostel provided here at NIT Bhopal consists of a single room which is large enough to accomodate 3 people. Here at boys hostels 3 people share one room. The meal quality is not that bad and not that good. Its kinda average.

The eligibility to get in NIT is just give an entrance exam called JEE through which one can get admission in any NITs if he/she satisfies the criteria and has passed the exam with a great percentile.To apply for this exam you just need to visit NTA website. NTA is a exam conducting body. The application fees depends on the category of the student. For a general candidate the fee is 1000. And I being a category student saw this as a great opportunity to fulfil my dream. For a valid category certificate one just need to visit the JOSAA website and see all the information related to gaining reservation facilities. Overall the admission process is great
