Likes

Mess food : It was far better than what I had expected.
Fests : the best thing about this college , make sure you attend each one of them.
Campus life : 650 + acres lush green campus.

Dislikes

Some teachers way of teaching. Although of few of them only.
Restrictions for first year students. Some basic restrictions only.
Since of bigger campus you really really have to walk a lot if Dont have atleast a bicycle.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in coding so I took Computer Science. Faculty to student ratio is 1:12 approx. All the faculty members are PHD scholars and teaching is good. Term exams were held timely as of other colleges difficulty in 1st year is moderate I guess.

Class Size: 108Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

From the first year, you could apply for online (work-from-home) internships. Almost there are 5+ of them. Rest you could apply for them in your 3rd year same as that in any other engineering college ( except few ).

Placement Experience

For campus placements eligibility you should be a fourth-year student with 7.5+ cgpa. All companies like Goldmann sachs Atlantis microsoft amazon flipkart comes here. The highest package of 2k23 was about 84 lakhs. and CSE average was 17.5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

See the fees for any Btech course is optimal as compared to other Engineering colleges. Since these (NITs) are kind of government colleges only. My friends got scholarships ( Reliance Scholarship )based on some eligibility criteria like family income of less than 6 lakhs and something.

Campus Life

Tooryanad our cultural annual fest is conducted in September. Technofest our technical fest is conducted in November. Books in the library are ok not all of them are good but, if u take 2-3 books for a subject it would be satisfactory. The campus has Cricket football badminton, basketball, and courts/ grounds. It has its own sports complex in which one can play chess badminton basketball TT, it has a gym also.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility, you know you are in an engineering college and if you expect much you are still a kid. It is the same as in other colleges. Facilities like carrom tt rooms are provided. Water comes 24 x 7 but can't rely much on it as sometimes it just goes. Mess menu is good food quality is better than I expected.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

For eligibility, you have to be 12 passes and get 90+ percentiles in jee mains. To find application-related things, open the college website. The admission process was good not the best but ok. The admission process could have been better if there had been more punctuality on the time.

Strong Internship Support and opportunity of college students.

Placement Experience:

Students at this university brcomes eligible for cmpus placements from the 6th semester onwards.Well known companies such as Microsoft ,TCS, Infosys ,Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture ,etc have visited the company. 52LPA was the highest package and 6 to 8 LPA is the average package including all the branches.University claims a placements rate of over 90 percent for eligibled students.

The admission process in MANIT is same as in other NITs , the admission in this college is based upon the JEE mains score and rank. after the result jossa and csab counselling takes place and the result of this councelling gives the chance to take admission in this college in Btech degree .
