A very huge campus where you can explore more and more
Huge library where you can get every book about you course as well as competition books
Less fee structure every student of every income group can easily study

Dislikes

College took lot of time in declaring the result
It has huge sports Complex but opens only once a year
It is very difficult to get hostel in first year as their are less room available

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested very in computer science so I have taken this course. Also study about business makes it very interesting. Overall the faculty are good their behaviour is good and they explain very well. All teachers are passed out from top universities like Manit Bhopal etc. There are 3 mid-term and 1end term exams which take on time and the toughness of the exam is moderate

Placement Experience

After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Mainly placement offered in college is by tcs infosys like companies which do bulk hiring. And talking about packages the highest package is of 16 lpa off campus placement. An average placement is 2 lpa. Placement depends on your skills so you have to develop skills for good placement

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college the fees are very minimal and the hike in fees is not much. The annual fee of the college is approx 40000. And about scholarship so government provide scholarship to all student whose annual income is less than 300000 per annum. Other scholarships are also applicable

Campus Life

Talking about the fest it happens two times a year one is a sports feat known as MAHASANGRAM and one is a cultural fest. Mahasangram usually happens in summer. And about the library, RGPV has a huge library where you can find any book related to your course. Classrooms are normal as of any other college. For sports activities, we have a sports Complex which is open once a year during the college fest. And there are many clubs running in college such as gdsc, Phoenix, etc.

Admission

Admission to the SOIT is based on jee mains marks and percentile, usually, it depends on the cutoff Admission in soit is through Mpdte state Counselling. You have to register on the Mpdte website. Reservation is the same as applicable in other state examinations. Overall admission process is good

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Best government college if rank above 1Lakh-2lakh

I have applied to top government college in M.P. such as SGSITS and DAVV but i knew that i was not going to make in them. but this college is better than any private college out there in terms of fees and placements. I didn't make it to other applied college due to my jee rank obviously. Admission process of this college is that after choice filling and getting into this college you have to come to file some documents written in your mpdte site and confirm your admission by submitting admission and first semester fees.
