Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the Electrical Engineering branch because I want to work in the government sector. Well-qualified teachers are here, almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder. Some are really good at teaching while the rest are just average. Mid-semester exams are not so difficult to pass but for internal marks, you have to work hard.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like India Mart, IBM, PayTM, Samsung, Flipkart, and Amazon offer internships in this college. The stipend varies from 10k/- month to 60k/- month. Till now highest stipend offered is 60k to a student from the CSE branch.

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester, students become eligible for placements. Top recruiting companies come here like Reliance, evalurese, ITC, Aarti Industries Adam Walmer, and Exxon. Placements are decent. Two years back, the Highest package was INR 45 LPA and the average package was INR 9 LPA. Around 90-92% of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the 1st year, the fee for the whole year is about 135000 and in the second year, the course cost is 127500. The scholarship program is conducted by UP scholarship in which they give 50k to 60k money good for us and it is worth for us. Yes, you will get placed easily in this college as placement is quite good here.

Campus Life

The college is divided into two campuses as East campus and the West campus. In the East Campus academic area and in West Campus boys hostel is situated, also a large space on west campus is of enjoying. A cricket ground is also there. Hbtu conducts annual fests named Adhyaay, Aagaz, and Technika.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel, rooms are well maintained, hygiene is also quite good. The mess menu is decided by the students themselves. The quality of food is also very good in the mess. The fee for a hostel is 24k /year and for a mess is 36k/year. One can easily register for hostels, from the website.

Admission

I took the JEE MAIN entrance exam conducted by NTA every year. Then from the website of HBTU, I filled out the application form for this college. The application fee was 1500 and the application begins just after the declaration of Josaa counseling. The application process was easy.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. apart from this college i also applied for nits , but i didnt not take admission in them since i wasnt getting a technical branch . i paid the fee for MMMUT gorakhpur for CSE branch , though it is also a great college but since that was my hometown i didnt opt that and also due to the hype that most people create of hbtu , i came here . for admission in hbtu kanpur you need to qualify jee mains exams with a good percentile to get technical branch , to just enter in the college . you can get any lower branch in 4 lac rank...Read More

Eligibility of course decided on behalf of your jee mains score and category. After the exam of jee mains the HBTU counseling portal is opened for students where they can apply and fill their desired branches and on basis of your result college faculty alloys you the branch. And you can also apply in spot counseling. The application fees is based on your category. Reservation students can get good course like IT and computer science and engineering at 90 percentile.
