Course Curriculum Overview
Food technology is emerging these days and going to take a rise in the future that's why I opted for the food technology branch. The faculty is very supportive here in case you also take regular classes, faculty are also very hardworking even when there are exams coming, they used to take extra marathon classes. There are two mid-semester exams conducted every month gap covers fifteen marks(per mid-semester exam) per subject and then end-semester exams happen which are around 50 marks on paper and 20 marks will be internal.
Internships Opportunities
Internships, you will surely get an internship at the start of your third year till your final year starts, The faculty is supportive in this case and always uplift students' career with their guidance. Internships vary according to our knowledge but for three months of internships mostly students do.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. And if you are an average student in the study you can even get a good placement package just by showing little consistency in your final year. Approx 70-75 % of students get placed and the rest 25 %may go for higher studies or government jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes it's annual University tuition fee around 135000 for the first year and then in your second year it reduces to 127000, plus if you take a hostel another 61000rs you must have to stay in a hostel this 61000 is per year fee, where 36000 is the mess fee and 25000 is hostel room rent fee. You can get scholarships like up government scholarships, reliance scholarships, and a lot more. Also, the placement criteria are quite good enough for middle-class students, he can easily get a 6-7 lpa package easily.
Campus Life
The campus is good. If you striving to explore there are not so many opportunities to explore, limited opportunities are here. Annual fests like aarambh, and Adhyaay happens, which are so damn good, generally happen in winter. Sports and extracurricular activities are average here.
Admission
The admission process is quite simple, just after taking your jee mains exam you can go for counseling at Hbtu online website hbtu.ac.in, and there you will get the application form, and fee structure. If you get some kind of reservation your branch may upgrade and you can get a better branch in low rank too.
