Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed for the students to get knowledge of food and chemical industry and also provide entrepreneurship knowledge. The food technology is a branch of practicals and all theories are applied in day to day life. There is 100 marks paper of each subjects and it is divided as 50 marks end semester 20 marks of two mid sem and 20 marks of teachers assessment
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of BTECH program is 135000? and it's for day scholars. There is financial assistance by alumni association to topper of batch. Apart from this there is a departmental scholarship for Oil technology students, for batch toppers. There is a UP government scholarship for all students who falls under that criteria.
Campus Life
The life at HBTU is fascinating and it's a memory forever. You will be getting exposure of different fields apart from your core area. There are 9 sub-councils like NSS, Literary, PSMSC, Technical etc sub-councils. All of these are run by students and there is a convenor from faculty members.
Admission
The admission process is online and it is of 3 rounds. There is a non-refundable amount of 20000? to participate in the counseling procedures. There is a reservation for the OBC, ST, SC students. The admission is done on basis of JEE mains ranks and the process is very easy and simple.
Faculty
The faculties at HBTU are very well qualified and they have PhD degree in their field. They are also good experience of teaching as well. Apart from these have good contacts in industries thus helping students for internships and placements. They make the class interactive and there is a two way interaction in the class.
