Course Curriculum Overview

In the ECE course faculty are very friendly and supportive and they also have a wide skillset which will help us. But the only problem in ece subjects is the syllabus is too outdated for present technology. All teachers here are Ph.D. graduates and exams are also easy to moderate and easy to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements start from the 7th sem up to the 8th sem. More than 50 companies visit the campus and some are DE Shaw, EA Sports, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. More than 80% get placed in the college. The highest package is 98lpa and the average package is 8lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees-143000, misc- 10000, scholarship only for reservation candidates and general candidates with rank <10000. Financial assistance is not given primarily by the institute but they have connections with third-party companies and have plenty of job opportunities.

Campus Life

The campus is filled with activities and events. Tech fest called Convergence is also conducted every year. An annual fest called scintiklation is also held every year and intercollege competitions are best' sports available in College: cricket, football, basketball, kabaddi, badminton, volleyball, and long tennis.

Admission

To get into vnrjiet there are 3 methods: Through eamcet requires rank between 1800 to 2800 for cse and ece. Through NRI quota: yearly fees around 4lakhs. Through donations for cse around 10-14 lakhs. Through b-cat and spot admissions:bcat is for jee applicants and leftover seats are given in spot admission. The above-mentioned eamcet rank is for general and varies according to reservation. Check vnr website for the ranking cutoff.

Good college with decent placements,but overhyped.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Circuulum is not so good but need to be imporoved a lot. The circulum doesn't prepare for real world job market,need to do a lot more. Ciruculum should be improved. EHave slip tests,mid exams,sens exams.

If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder,director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota. I have aimed to go to NIT'S and IIT's but I could manage only to clear the JEE MAIN exam, however for the percentile I secured , In counselling I got only a tier-3 government college.
