Likes

Faculty and the Department. The teacher of the department works as a team that includes students and give them a friendly environment to work in. It enriches the morals and learnings as well.
The environment is very calm and supportive. Seniors are as helpful as the should be and the campus is ragging free. These is no space for student harrasment.

Dislikes

No drinking water facility. Students have mentioned this issue even before and maintenance are being renewed.
No canteen which means students have to suffer to get food and have to travel a distance for lunch.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course (English Honours) is a very rich and beneficial course that makes you absolutely aware of literature. The faculty is an excellent one. Teachers are highly appreciated for their professional skills and are very vulnerable towards the students. The department consists of professors who have done their PhD and postdocs. Exams occur in between regular intervals and the exams are based in standard mode. A student needs to prepare well for passing.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The admission fee required is 900 and for each semester you have to pay two fees one to the board counselor and the other tuition fee of 1200. Scholarships are available and to get financial assistance you have to maintain a cgpa up to 60%.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Social and it's celebrated at the end of the year. New students are welcomed with the event of freshers every year. The library of this campus is huge students can sit and borrow books on any subject they need. There is a lift for every building with proper electricity and a common room for students. Every year annual sports are celebrated. Numerable sports like badminton, cricket, football, and volleyball are played with proper distribution of prizes.

Admission

The course is for three years. The application form is available on the college portal/website. There was no application fees. Admission dates are provided as per the list released based on the merit list. Seats are reserved for backward classes like SC.ST.OBC. Scholarships are being provided with semesters. No, the process is very brief and easy to understand. It's student-friendly.

There are government aided co curriculums which are not very useful or good because the classes get cancelled half of the time. I did not get to have any clasees and the computers and machines are all outdated.
