Remarks

College management was too partial towards south Indians. The owner was one of the richest man in Bangalore so cant fight against him,

Entrance Preview

COMEDK exam- around 70%. almost 50k students appeared in the exam. I got this college in first round itself. But could get better college as well in second round.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was standard Information Science course with many programming languages like java,.net,c,c++, Data Structures, Computer aided engineering drawing, microprocessor, maths etc subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Around 21 companies came for placements including accenture, google,sap etc. Avg stipend offered was 3 lakhs per annum. Most of the students got places in good companies.

College Events

Annual Fest, Sports events, university level chess competition. Cricket, volleyball ,table tennis basket ball and hand ball ,slow bike race ,treasure hunt games were also there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was too much expensive. It was costing me 1 lakh a year excluding hostel feel. Hostel fees were around 50000 a year. The price mentioned were for those 4 years from 2006-2010. Now it would be much higher.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. No loan facility was offered. I have taken loan from private bank. However college gave me enough documents for the loan to be granted.

Campus Life

Campus life was good.Gender ration was 70-30 M-F. There were no hostel parties.So much partiality with south Indians. And very bad treatment with North Indians. Only good part was that raging was not there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was pathetic. Food was horrible. You would certainly get cockroaches,lizards,hairs etc in your plate once in a month. Even after complaining multiple times there was no change.Also you would same south Indian food every week. Same boring ,unhygieni

Exam Structure

It was neither hectic nor chilled out. Most precisely we can say it was balanced.We had enough time for self studies, games, labs and lecturers.

Faculty

Most of the faculty was well qualified at PhD level as well. However rest of the faculty was recently passed students and quality of some of the faculties was so poor. Even behavior of some faculties were horrible. Specially with girls.

Well according to sources from college they have an average placement of 7 lakhs per annum and highest of 56lpa but it was off campus according to me highest may be 30 lpa something they have company tie ups in their own college According to seniors this college does not have that level of placement it's just decent they said

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

There are campus placements in our college to company like Amazon and infosys.students become eligible for campus placements for 6 or 7th semester.i think so minimum package is 8 lakhs per year and max is 35-50 lakhs.it depends on the way students give their interview the percentage of students getting placement might be somewhere around 30-35 percent.i have some start-up ideas such as real estate or hostel business

The placements ar pretty good, with top companies attending them. Companies such as Goldman Sachs, google, microsoft etc participate in them. The highest package goes around 56lpa, the average for cse being around 28lpa. 95% of them are placed.

Placement Experience:

Students of 4 year are eligible for placements and students of third year are eligible for internship.given they have more than 7 cgpa with no subject which is uncleared that is having active backlog .My plans is to get a pre placement offer through my first internship.Big companies like microsoft ,Tata ,wipro, boeing come to college .percentage of students getting placed increase every year .This year it was 60 percent.Roles offered and placement depend on your field of interest and which companies you are applying for .

I applied to acharya college and ramai college also but I got confirmed addmission for in this college . and I choose this colege because of my comedK rank . only this is the top college I was getting by that rank. yes I get rejection from other college that i applid to because my comedk rank is not sufficient to take admission in that college . there is the three process to take the admission in my colllege i) comedk - in my time the cutoff is 32k for Computer science and enginnering ii) Kcet- I am not sure about kcut cutoff but nearly 40-50k for this college iii) management quota - there is no cutoff for management quota , only you have to show your money power and get admission in my college my overall admission experience is normal...Read More

Life at Atria

Actually I didn't get the other colleges because in the councellling i got this college. But I'm fine with it. Comparing it with other colleges can be done on the bases of fees structure, Curriculum, campus size. our campus size is approximately 17.5 acres, where other colleges follow VTU syllabus, here we have our own syllabus because our batch is the the first batch that is autonomous.
