Raju Sarkar's Review On Dewanhat Mahavidyalaya, Cooch Behar

The curriculum provides a comprehensive retrospective of literature from the Old English period to Modern period, while also including English works by Indian authors to demonstrate the diversity and evolution of English literature over the years. The current curriculum I believe requires more seminars and lectures from guest faculties on contemporary research and topics.

The Department of Bengali is one of the oldest Bengali department in the state. It offers undergraduate honours and postgraduate courses. Recently, they have started PhD courses as well. The Bengali department is actively engaged in research in hot topics in literature. The curriculam of Presidency university is most diverse among all other University, colleges in the state. It begins with very basic topics at the first year and ends with very specific research level papers at the final year. The syllabus is so advance that bachelors students can compare themselves with the masters level students after completeing the course. I will mention the bachelor course curriculam in summary: Semester I- Prachin Bangla Sahitya O Bangalir Itihas sandhan, Bangla bhasar itihas o bhasatotto, Semester II- Prak chaitanya juger bangla sahityer itihas, Madhyajuger bangla sahityer itihas o kabyapath, Semester III- Shorosh o soptodosh shotabdir samaj: itihas o chaitanyadeb, Ashtadosh shatabdir samaj sangkriti, changa-alanlkar o prof sangsodhan, Semester IV- Adhunik juger udbhab, gadya o probondho sahitya, kabya-kabitae itihas, natoker itihas o rupbhed, Semester V- Bangla Upanyas, Bangla chotogolpo, Rabindranath, Semester VI- Unish o Bish shataker bangla samaj songskriti o sahitya, bhinna bhasar sahityer itihas o tar obhighat, bharatiya alangkar shatra, sahitya o shilpo. Other than these compulsory courses, there are lot of exceptional elective courses that attracted me more towards joining this prestigious university. Since Presidency University select specific students through their difficult entrance tests, the semester exams should not be difficult for the students, but there are some papers in the course which needs to delt with extra care and attention to get extra marks.

If I had to rate the course curriculum then it would be 9 as this course is really good one. The college provides proper teaching facilities with the best teachers and with the help of them it feels so easy and fun to learn. There are no improvement required for this field if they will keep on doing the same thing it will really be good

I choose this course because my favorite subject is history, all faculty members are so good,teachers are really so professional. The faculty:students ratio is so good, all seniors are also so humble and helpful, they help their juniors also, the faculty members are so professional, the teacher are so educated and professional, they teach students very easily and teacher are so good and helpful,. . In a year 2 times semester conducted by university,my overall experience is good,

I love this college and for graduation, I join this college. about their faculty and student ratio is good. In every subject, there are two faculty in class. The good class environment in college. The teaching method of the faculty is very strong they care very much for students. The terms are exams that happen in the semester.

I love to read English and it's easy for me so that's why I choose it. There are a total of 50 students in this course. Our teachers are very helpful and talented and also support us. We have 2 semesters after 6 months in 1 year. Exams are comfortable for the students who study the subject. It is difficult for those who do not study.

To get admission, I had to first apply to the college by filling the application form present on the college website , once this was done, I had to submit the marks scored in grade 12th, after that the college would send us an email suggesting acceptance to the university.

My College is a average types college. But very simplicity makes the college beautiful. Once you come you can fall in love with the environment of the college. The people around the college are amazing.

I can't comment any bad remarks all of our professors, our Senior students, our classmates, our office stuff even our peon dada always help for our problem we very much enjoyed my college life. I am thankful that I got opportunity that type of college.

There are only good remarks and that'e everything. Nothing bad only the boys toilet
