Likes
- Campus is vast which has number of buildings one for each course. We have lot of free time available in the first 2 years. We have greenery everywhere. So its very good for having fun. Environment is easily adoptable.
- The infrastructure is really an adorable thing .
- The faculty is so supportive and helpful. The college is ready to make changes if necessary for the welfare of the students. There are good number of chances in getting placed.
Dislikes
- Time punctuality in organizing events and seminars.
- Some faculty not completing the full syllabus for the exams which causes students to suffer during end term exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of its demand and rapid growth in our present days. I guess it's around 1:25. It's difficult for me to accurately collect the data at present. Some of the faculty would be professors, and some would-be assistant professors, guest faculties, etc. The teaching method includes the lecturing method. There are only 3 exams conducted every semester. 2 mid-term exams and the final semester. It was easy to pass in mid-semester. As faculty covers prefer their own notes for mid-sem. But for sem, there should be an extra input.
Placement Experience
The highest package ever to date is 24 lk and the lowest is 3 lk. Cognizant, genpact, IBM, Oracle, and nearly 100 companies visit the campus for placements. The average package is around 6 lk. Over 70 to 90 percent of the students enrolling are placed for campus interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for our course at our college are around 1 lakh plus. And it depends on the courses and the colleges. And we can get an Epass scholarship. The scholarship amount varies with the caste and is applicable only to income certificate holders whose income is below a certain range.
Campus Life
Traditiional day, Fests are part of the campus. It's conducted ones in a year. It's usual to have different programs based on any occasion like bathukamma. We have a vast number of books available in the libraries. We have 2 libraries one the main library for the engineering course and the other separate libraries for each course. Sports competitions are conducted frequently. And there are many different clubs like Robotics, IEEE, etc.
Hostel Facilities
We are 8 members per room, with two fans and two lights. The menu is very fine with different tiffins and curries. We need to submit the necessary documents in the hostel section and get clarity on when to join the hostel and with the rooms. The hostel is affordable.
Admission
The admission process to the university I was in is based on the eamcet exam. After submitting the certificate verification there will be a phase for exercising options. Based on the rank and other criteria we get an allotment order showing which college we got admission into. If we do not prefer to join the college we get an allotment order we can go for 2nd phase, 3rd phases as per availability. Eligibility depends on the rank we secure.
