Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering, the faculty members are really good and a lot of faculties are PhD holders. The student ratio is much better than many top colleges. There are 2 mid sem exams and 1 end sem exam each semester, the difficulty level is moderate anyone who starts studying 1 week prior can easily score 7-7.5 GPA.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come in 3rd year to provide internship opportunities to the students. Many students apply for off-campus internships in 2nd or 3rd year in DRDO etc. I will say that for a skilled person, there are a lot of opportunities but if you do not work on yourself no one can help you.
Placement Experience
Our college provides on-campus placements and avg package is also decent. Almost all the eligible students get placed. Placement opportunities in lower branches are also great last year a student of food technology placed for 23lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee for B.Tech is 135000 which includes all the charges. For scholarships you can apply for UP Government scholarships and other scholarships, no scholarship is provided by the college itself. As of my knowledge, there is no Campus Jop for students.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent and what makes a college decent is its students, not the infrastructure. Since it is a state govt. College the infra is not that great but it is decent all the classrooms have AC in them, various college fests are held every year last year Darshan Raval came for the annual fest. Our college library(Tagore Central Library) is also great where you can find all the books related to courses as well as magazines newsletters and other books. Sports and other curricular activities are decent. There are total 9 sub-councils in our college such as technical sub-council, literary sub-council, NSS and also NCC is going to be added in the next 1-2years
Admission
The admission to this university was done through their counselling which is done based on CRL rank in Jee Mains. The eligibility of the course is that you must have at least 65% in your 12th class. The application form comes on their website hbtu.ac.in and appl. fee is 2500. The reservation system is also present in the counselling where we can see reservations for EWS, OBC, SC/ST. You can also apply for a fee waiver seat if your family income is less.
